We are a busy, Los Angeles based, production company that could use a little extra help with our current workload.

Looking for an assistant editor for a long term project that is just kicking off. There is room to grow and continue at our company, our lead AE will be showing you the ropes.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Creating AAFs in Avid Media Composer for our audio and color correction teams.
• Importing AAFs into DaVinci Resolve and tracking down any media that did not link automatically.
• Making low-res exports for reference and hi-res exports for QC and delivery.
• Replacing temp GFX with final files from our GFX department.
• Troubleshooting and rebuilding any FX such as speed ramps or transitions that didn't survive the AAF process.
• Dropping the final files from mix, graphics and color correction into Resolve for delivery to our client.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Enthusiasm for DaVinci Resolve.
• Competency in Avid Media Composer.

WORK LOCATION:
•Depending on how you are set up it is possible that this could be done 100% remotely.
•It is a plus if you are located in the vicinity of our facility, south of the Melrose Hill neighborhood, for occasional on-site visits.
•If you would prefer to work at our facility it can be arranged.
