OVERVIEW:
Major network looking for Assistant Editor to join our multi-platform video team. All work will be done remotely. Potential for in-office pending candidate preference and vaccination status.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating final technical deliverables to spec for short and long-form linear projects
- Onlining external editors’ and archived Premiere projects
- Syncing and grouping shoots, multi-camming, & prepping files and projects in house format. Prepping OMFs & AAFs for audio mix sessions
- Meticulously preparing deliverables (including online/upres) and attentively QC’ing deliverables (slates, stems, color, audio etc.) for broadcast and archive
- Track delivery through internal systems and triage kickbacks for projects originating in After Effects and Premiere

SECONDARY:
- Finish Editing (titlesafe/errors/color/gfx swaps/audio leveling) in AE and Premiere
- Troubleshoot technical difficulties with editors, coordinating fixes with in-house technical team
- Provide support to Senior Manager of Post-Production and Operations, Post-Technical Coordinator, and Junior Editors in all post-production workflows and deliveries

- Fluent in current file formats and best practices for audio and video

The pay rate for this role in Los Angeles, New York, and DC is $38.00 to $52.00 per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
