Looking for a Lead AE with technical proficiency.

The Assistant Editor will work in tandem with our current AE with shared responsibilty for ingest and dailies string outs, media management, server management, technical support for the production and post team as needed, and maintenance of post computers as well as occasional selects edits.

High proficiency in Premiere and Macs required. Experience with media management and server operation strongly preferred.

Self-motivated, can work efficiently with quick turn-around, both as a team and autonomously. Potential for growth.

Some natural history experience is ideal. Non-union.

Candidate should be prepared to work from the production office on-farm in Moorpark, CA as this is not a remote position. Dates are roughly early October - early January with possibility to extend to the series.

This documentary is about an internationally known artist and the making of his hit song and music video. Please include a cover letter as to why you think you're the right person for this job.

We're located in Los Angeles, CA and we'd like to find someone local. But we are open to someone doing the job remotely as well.

JOB DESCRIPTION
