Looking for an experienced remote AE to come on board for our TLC reality show.

Candidate must be a team player with a can-do attitude (no task is too big or small).

Duties would include ingesting media into Avid, syncing/grouping, organizing Avid for the story/edit team, exporting network cuts, prepping for online, script syncing and supporting the editors with any technical needs. Some After Effects experience will be needed to create Lower Thirds. Ability to blur is a plus!

Our production is currently working remotely using Microsoft Remote Desktop. Until we are able to return to our office, it will be necessary for you to work from your personal computer.

Functions and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Lead AE to ensure that materials are being effectively prepared for the offline process
- Grouping and syncing of daily scenes
- Sorting and organization of B-Roll and other transitional elements
- Maintaining the organization and folder structures of a shows media volumes
- Preparation of materials and media to online vendors, including Color, Mix, VFX, and Online
- Exporting and encoding all media for web postings- and distributing links for cuts
- Conversion of footage to proper working formats
- Supplemental editing for a show's needs and necessities, including VODs & web extras
- Management of all necessary tracking documents
- Receiving media from media managers and loading to the server

Job Description
Finance news brand is seeking an experienced video editor to edit engaging, informative and timely video features, recurring series episodes and in-depth interviews. The video editor will regularly work on segments ranging from eight to 10 minutes with opportunities to expand stories to 25 minutes for OTT platforms.

These originals will be expected to capture viewers' attention through their sharp perspective, approachable style, and clear relevance to the biggest investments and financial questions investors face. You will help spearhead execution across a range of programming formats.

You will work closely with reporters, studio, graphics, and more to elevate brand’s feature video stories. You will be expected to be a strong collaborator and execute an efficient video production process to ensure clean, final delivery. Responsibilities:
