We are in need of a talented Assistant Editor to come in and pull selects from a series of zoom interviews. There will be approximately 10 hour-long interviews to go through, so we're looking for someone efficient and experienced in combing through large amounts of interview footage for standout sound bites.

Interested applicants should have strong storytelling instincts, should excel at working with interview and vérité footage, and should have experience in quickly going through large selections of footage in order to pull the best selects. Efficiency and attention to detail are key.

Responsibilities:
Assist the lead editor in organizing and managing the show's footage
Review and log raw footage, ensuring accurate labeling and categorization

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The 2nd Assistant Editor will support Kin’s Post Production department in all aspects media management, including preparing media after production for our editors, sourcing media for projects as needed from our library of hard drives, and QCing masters before archiving them to our new asset library management system. - QC episode masters to ready for distribution

What You Have:
- 1-2 years of post-production experience, including work as an AE, preferably with digital content
- Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite / Final Cut Pro and other post-production software
- Advanced knowledge of video and audio codecs for digital media and broadcast distribution
