Title: Untitled Mies Film
Job Requirements: Must be Bilingual English/German (Deutsch). Must be local to location (or willing to work as a local).

Seeking Assistant Editor to help organize approx. 150 hours of documentary footage for a documentary feature film. There is some recent new footage from the last 1-2 years that has to be synced to sound. Half of the film is shot in German, so an Assistant Editor who understands German is a necessary requirement.

The documentary is a feature length film about the iconic German architect Mies van der Rohe. The film was shot over the last 12 years from Chicago to Berlin, among other locations.

It would be ideal for the Assistant Editor to be able to work out of the Venice, Los Angeles editing studio, but if necessary we can arrange for you to bring hard drives home to complete work afterhours.

Heavy lifting of assistant editing (plus syncing new footage, exporting audio files for transcriptions and English translation, etc) will be done from February through mid-March, with the actual story editing to start in mid-March and to last for the rest of the year. If the AE does a good job, they can stay on as the AE assisting the Film Editor throughout the rest of 2023.

Job Description

The Graphic Producer will be responsible for the creation of graphic elements which include written/visual content under tight deadlines in a live broadcast environment including but not limited to a control room.

Work closely with the content producers to find innovative ways to enhance the on-air content with graphic elements.

For example - video used in a fast-paced nightly sportscast will be cut differently than a serious 3-camera anchor interview. In this position, you will edit video, work within the newscasts as a writer and writer/associate producer, and also develop content for all our digital platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Edit video on a deadline, working with the Producer towards a creative and informative newscast with emphasis on the viewers' interests

Job Summary:

*** is seeking a full-time freelance News Editor for Washington and politics content for *** Digital.

This editor is responsible for working closely with the Washington Editor in the coordination and line editing of text stories related to DC and politics. This editor is also responsible for coordinating with Digital's senior editorial leaders, the various DC editorial teams, including the White House and Capitol Hill, and the Newsgathering division as a whole.
