BIG PICTURE:
We are looking for a Production Project Manager Associate to oversee important ongoing and one-off projects that help Dhar Mann Studios achieve company-wide objectives. This position helps to bridge together all the people and requirements from pre-production to production. Successful project management includes setting goals, coordinating communications (often across departments), maintaining meticulous organization, setting goal-oriented deadlines and making sure all necessary action items get done on time. After a project is complete an effective project manager creates detailed reports for all stakeholders and makes recommendations on how processes can be improved. Experience coordinating with many people is key for success in addition to impeccable organization and communication capabilities. More specifically, the ideal candidate will ensure that productions run smoothly by providing general support to the Director, Casting Team, Cast, and Crew. Additional responsibilities include making sure all props needed for production are on set and all call sheets are created and sent to all crew members and cast.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
Working closely with the Director, Cast, and Crew with miscellaneous tasks on-set
Making sure all props, wardrobe, and equipment are organized and ready to go on-set
Providing organizational and administrative support to the Production Team while anticipating needs and always being two steps ahead
Creating production plans, call sheets, production schedules, and templates as required, and updating database with all information
Creating, organizing, and ordering props while staying within production budgets
Maintaining meticulous organization using appropriate platforms (Skype, Monday.com, Google Drive)
Managing workbooks (casting/location/props) daily for multiple shoots
Facilitating communication and task completion with necessary team members, which include scheduling meetings, issuing deadlines, and task reminders
Making recommendations for improvement to increase efficiency
Completing all related reports and updates in a timely manner
Holding other team members accountable to hit deadlines
Additional tasks as needed

WHAT YOU HAVE:
A minimum of 2 years working as a Project Manager Associate, Producer or a similar role
Flexibility with your schedule (Be on call at any given moment in time. This includes early mornings, late nights, and weekends)
Comprehensive understanding of all production processes
Demonstrated ability to think clearly and quickly under pressure
Ability to multitask, work in a team environment, and adjust to established work patterns
Ability to create detailed reports and graphs (experience with Google applications (sheets, docs, drive) is required, and Monday.com and Skype are preferred)
Strong attention to detail, communication and impeccable customer service skills
Strong sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines and staying accountable
Strong leadership with the ability to motivate others

WHO OVERSEES YOU:
The Production Project Manager Associate will report directly to the Junior Project Manager

WHO YOU OVERSEE:
Currently, the Production Project Manager Associate has no personnel reporting directly to him or her.

WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:
All the action takes place at our BRAND NEW studio in Burbank, CA!

WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:
The typical work schedule is 40+ hours a week, specific times will be discussed during the interview

We have a 3 month 'Discovery Period' in place that allows us to get to know each new hire better and assess their skill set. Management-level roles will be part of a different Discovery Period for each step of the ladder (but again this does not affect your pay or compensation package).
