Your New Role...

The Director of Cybersecurity Metrics and Policy is a collaborative leadership position that oversees development and maintenance of the global cybersecurity policies and standards for *** Bros Discovery. In addition, this role closely partners with the Cybersecurity Risk Management team in development of key risk indicators (KRI's), metrics and das *** ards that are used to monitor and report on the overall state of the cybersecurity program. This role also partners with teams and leadership across Global Information & Content Security to develop key performance indicators (KPI's) and operational metrics. This data-minded leader will have the opportunity to collect and connect additional datasets to develop new metrics and improved cybersecurity insights.

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Drive the development, oversight and management of WBD's cybersecurity Metrics and Reporting program; working closely with Governance, Risk and Operational security teams to ensure that metrics address critical risks and provide leadership and drive positive trending for KRIs and KPIs for BoD and across WBD relevant stakeholders. Assist in developing Board of Director (BoD) and Audit Committee communications

• Lead the creation, management, and communication of WBD IT Cybersecurity Policies, Standards, and baselines. Partner with Legal, Compliance and Technology & Operations teams to ensure that policies, standards, and baselines are harmonized across the enterprise. Support compliance with published documents across global WBD employee and technologies environments. Understand the "voice of the customer" and work with the IT and Business lines to ensure that policies are consistent with business needs and usage while minimizing risk.

• Maintain strong relationships, partnership, execution focus, and mutual support with other corporate/business lines, working to understand business processes, applications, projects, and technologies to ensure information security risk management objectives are delivered, and drive a cohesive view of information security risk throughout WBD. Proactive management and understanding emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and control techniques and communicating this information to leadership.

Qualifications & Experiences...

• Experience authoring or leading teams that author security policies
• Experience with Policy / Governance
• Experience in developing/maturing Governance processes and procedures
• Experience measuring corporate cyber risk
• Familiarity with Python, specifically Pandas
• Familiarity with Postgres databases
• Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Looker or other data visualization tools
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and GRC

Your New Role...

This is a critical leadership role responsible for Strategic Planning, guidance, definition, and design of enterprise-wide security engineering initiatives to effectively and securely support the organization in meeting specific business technology needs. This candidate will be considered a technical expert and a leader. Ideal candidates will have the following expectations, implement design reviews to evaluate security controls and identify opportunities to enhance the security posture of WBD business environments, build or manage enterprise security tools effectively, communicate effectively across all levels of management to articulate vision and direction and act as a mentor to all members of the Infosec team if required. This role also manages a team of security engineers and collaborates with other departments to ensure that all security measures are aligned with the overall business strategy.

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Provide technical leadership and management of Security projects from conception through deployment and handover.
  
• Assist the Infosec leadership with technical direction and vision for implementing the infosec strategy for WBD.
  
• Lead a team of security engineers: You will manage a team of security engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure the successful implementation of security measures. You will also oversee the recruitment, training, and development of security personnel.

Qualifications & Experience...

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in security engineering, with at least 5+ years in a security leadership role.
  
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related discipline or 10+ years of previous technical experience, specifically security engineering and architecture experience.
  
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of security engineers.
  
• Capable of directing technical teams towards the methodical and expedient analysis of complex business architectures in a high-stress and visibility environment.
  
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate within the context of the intended audience, whether that be senior executives or highly technical engineering resources.
  
• Good understanding of the threats faced by direct-to-consumer and digital platform organizations.
  
• 5+ years hands-on experience in managing enterprise security tools such as Vulnerability Management Tools, Network Security Tools, Security Orchestration solutions, Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM), endpoint security tools, etc.
  
• Hands on technical experience with Network and Compute architectures and, specifically, the security aspects thereof.
  
• Driving continual operational excellence ensuring Infosec provides great ser *** to its internal customers.
  
• Hands on technical experience with compliance and regulatory frameworks and how they affect architecture designs and reviews.

Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and privacy in streaming data environments. Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their streaming data requirements and design solutions that meet their needs. Build and maintain scalable and fault-tolerant streaming data systems that can handle high volumes of data and traffic. Implement and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources and systems into streaming data platforms.

Requirements

10+ years leading and managing a big data engineering team with coaching, mentoring, setting goals, and recruiting talent. Strong programming and domain experience in big data technologies. Experience with ETL/ELT utilizing Python, Apache Spark, Airflow, Snowflake and Databricks. Experience with streaming data storage and compute resources such as Apache Kafka, *** Kinesis, and Apache Spark Streaming. Hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining real-time data streaming pipelines and architectures that process and analyze large volumes of data. Strong knowledge of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and privacy in streaming data environments. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge of large-scale application architecture, design, implementation, and performance tuning in streaming data environments. Experience in modern DevOps/SRE practices such as CI/CD, performance monitoring, and incident management in streaming data environments. Experience with Java, Scala, Golang is a plus. The Director of Audience Insights will be responsible for leading the overall team, driving innovation and ensuring everything we do is driving business growth. Pay Range
Salary: $88,000 - $110,000

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.
