Animal-centric docu-style show is seeking an Associate Producer to support production in the field. RECENT docu-experience with Animal Planet, PBS, Nat Geo Kids, Disney Plus or Netflix Kids, and Discovery Kids is preferred but not a deal breaker. We will be shooting all over the US as well as in a few international locations so willingness to travel is a must as well as proof of vaccination.

Field-based responsibilities include:

Working closely with Executive Producers & Field Producers and help manage schedule and crew, field coordinating, obtaining releases, taking notes during scenes, creating hot sheets to be approved by field producers.
Is creative, full of ideas and is interested in Animals and Rescue Organizations. Comfortable and has some working knowledge of gear - Gopros, handycams, playback monitors. May need to help set up the camera stream. Has a valid driver’s license, highly organized, able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines. Familiar with Covid-19 filming restrictions and keeping them in mind when assisting with building beats

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $61,000.00-70,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. ****, The *** *** *** affiliate in Ft. Myers is seeking a nightside Executive Producer to manage newscasts or local programs, including oversight on story selection, content, and production.

**** YOU'LL DO:

Manage newscasts or local program content and showcasing across multiple platforms.
Collaborate with editors, producers and/or the assignment desk to select stories for coverage.
Oversee and edit the writing of content, including but not limited to teases and web headlines.
Develop and manage effective workflow strategies and procedures for multiple programs.
Manage pre-production to ensure quality and ethical standards and coordination *** ween control room and design staff.

**** YOU'LL NEED:

BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience
Generally, 8+- years of experience in related field preferred
Generally, 5+ years previous new producing experience preferred
Prior managerial experience preferred

**** YOU'LL BRING:

Knowledge and demonstration of editorial judgment, journalistic ethics and libel laws
Ability to create tactics and strategies to increase demo performance in key target areas for multiple platforms
Working knowledge of federal, state and local laws impacting operations.
Flexible work hours may be required, including holidays, weekends and evenings.
