Looking for an Associate Producer that is a LONG ISLAND local (or can work as a local with own transportation) for a docu-soap show about young entrepreneurs! The pandemic shut production down in March, but now we're back to finish telling their stories!

Dates are Monday August 17th until about Wednesday Sept. 23rd in Holbrook, Long Island.

Duties would include taking story notes with timecode, helping with segment-related logistics when locking down shoots, track clearances/releases, taking set stills and help brainstorm/execute new story ideas as they come.

We are taking all COVID safety measures VERY seriously and that's our #1 priority. A COVID Compliance Officer will be with us on every shoot day and COVID tests will be done every other week on all cast and crew.

The Associate Producer is responsible for identifying, conceptualize, prepare newsworthy stories for Noticias *** Ahora streaming channel. JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include writing stories and teases, editing video, and creating graphics and supers for newscasts, *** 4news.com, social channels and associated news partners. The position works closely with Producers to help develop and format newscasts and communicates continuously with Reporters, Photographers, the Assignment Desk, Managers and other applicable employees or outside sources regarding story developments and changes. Must possess the ability to write stories and post video for social *** platforms in coordination with Producers and Managers. Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field required. Two (2) to three (3) years' experience as a TV Newscast Associate Producer in a small to medium to major television market required. Strong knowledge of legal and ethical parameters for mass *** is essential. Your Role Accountabilities...

The Associate Producer responsibilities include, but are not limited to: viewing and selecting the strongest and most accurate video elements (packages, sound-bites, B-roll, etc.) for a newscast.
