How you'll make an impact:Under the direction of the channel's producers and Director of Programming you'll produce and edit live, entertainment content, covering pop culture, news, and trending topics. A self-starter you'll work closely with senior members of the team and show talent to deliver a great audio product.
What you'll do: - Be the keeper of the show's schedule including guest bookings, tape schedule and host availability
- Run the audio board in studio for live and taped broadcasts.
- Work with producers to provide comprehensive research, questions, and full show prep packet for show's host/s
- Pitch show topics and caller segments based on the current day's events
- Assist with providing on-the-fly feedback and research as required during the live show
- Identify, edit, and load sounders and audio clips for use in-show.
- Work closely with producers, PR, and digital teams to identify compelling moments and clips to create audiograms and video clips
- Assist with writing show production elements and promos with audio production team, providing necessary audio clips
- Edit and load best of shows and specials
- Work with producers to post creative content on channel's social *** accounts to promote the show
- Screen listener phone calls during the show
- Perform post-production duties including audio editing, posting the show on demand, and other pertinent duties
- Under the guidance of the channel's Program Director, work with the company's support teams (sales, traffic, PR, marketing, talent, events, promotions, digital and others) as required
What you'll need:- Minimum 2 years of experience in radio, podcast, or audio production
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work under pressure with high profile talent
- Strong interest and knowledge of current events and pop culture
- Audio editing experience (ex. Adobe Audition)
- Impeccable attention to detail in all areas of work
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment
- Be a great communicator
- Ability to run a live studio board a plus
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At *** , we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $42,000 - $48,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
