Production assistant works closely with the lead producer of the event, bringing a professional attitude to a variety of production-related tasks including but not limited to assisting with set-up and wrap, running and taping cables, general computer work, and going on runs. Experience in live events/reality TV/documentary preferred. General knowledge of sports and production also preferred. Must be able to help with lifting and carrying heavy gear. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.



The Production Assistant (PA) assists the Lead Producer of the event with a variety of tasks.

Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) Studios and Production Services is hiring a Production Manager to support and perform administrative and production tasks for the entire production department as needed. The production manager will be report to the Vice President of GPB Studios. GPB is a statewide dual licensee comprised of 9 PBS television stations and 20 NPR radio stations that broadcast across the state of Georgia.

Candidate Responsibilities:
• Manage budgets for client and internal productions.
• Responsible for a variety of daily office activities to include: scheduling meetings, booking Studios/Rooms, preparing materials for productions, shipment & and receiving, ordering supplies, keeping notes and distributing accordingly, reviewing freelancer invoices & and time cards, ordering supplies, and other duties as needed.
• Assist with studio setup for GPB client & internal productions, and serve as an onsite contact during studio or field productions.
• Prepares contract documents for all studio and field shoots.
• Coordinates the distribution and management of releases for client talent and locations.
• Works to coordinate crew fulfillment, which includes pre-production, production, and post-production.
• Coordinates and ensures the appropriate bookings of studios/facilities and assists in creating shot lists, itineraries, and call sheets for productions.
• Works with production, post-production, and development teams to procure, organize, and maintain all assets related to production of the shows or projects the team is working on.
• Serves as the point of contact to ensure client delivery of final program/product in the requested format and any DVD duplication.
• May help operate various studio equipment including camera, teleprompter, graphics, and other production functions
• Supervise all production engineering staff and schedule all television production work.
• Supervises and evaluates assigned staff, directs work, processes employee concerns and problems, and counsels and disciplines.
• Acts as liaison between the creative, technical, and logistical aspects of productions; provides technical assistance as needed.
• Arranges for transmission and telephone service for remote television programs.
• Provides the organization with long-term planning regarding facilities and personnel; advises Director of Engineering of production needs.
• Maintains production policies and procedures; identifies and resolves organizational and personnel problems.
• Maintains records of production activity and attends various meetings, professional workshops, seminars, and conferences.
• Interacts with other television stations and oversees studio safety programs and activities.
• Performs other administrative tasks as needed which may include conducting remote surveys, evaluating various equipment for purchase, and renting outside equipment and facilities; substitutes for co-workers in temporary absence of same.
Candidate Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Television Production, Communications, or related field required;
● Five years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in television production and broadcasting;
● 1-2 years of experience working in a television production environment; or a related field required; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, or a similar database is required.
● Familiarity with editing in Final Cut or Adobe is a plus.
● Ability to work flexible hours, during events & and productions which includes nights and weekends.
● Must be a diligent, detail-oriented worker who is efficient, a creative problem-solver, and not afraid to ask questions.
● Must maintain a professional demeanor while working with talent and crews during productions.

We are a small crew looking for a Production Assistant local to the Atlanta, GA area.

Previous set experience is preferred.

This position will require driving company minivans and cargo vans, along with crew and gear.
Eligibility will be based on a driving/background check.

Should be knowledgeable about the area and freeways. Must be comfortable going on runs and assisting with crew meal. As well as assisting with different departments on an as-needed basis.
Strong communication skills and a "can do" attitude" are a plus.

Must provide a valid drivers license & reliable transportation.

Coordinator Position

Seeking a Production Coordinator for an Unscripted TV series. The ideal candidate has a minimum 1-2 years experience as PC but open to all applications.

Some responsibilities but not limited to:

- Coordinating travel for crew sized 40+.
- On-set production coordination and logistics.

Scale tier 2 rates $38.40/hr

Major Responsibilities:
● Under direction, carefully load and unload all exhibits, assets, and equipment from semi truck and trailers
● Position all exhibits, assets and equipment under the direction of the Race Directors and/or other Event staff
● Set up and take down the fencing and pop-up tents at each event
● Strictly follow safety guidelines to maintain safe working conditions for all team members as well as the integrity of all exhibits, assets, and equipment
● Under direction, provide set up and take down of equipment and assets along a certified marathon route

Qualifications:
● Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs
● Availability for weekend events, early mornings and late afternoons/evenings
● Punctuality and reliability
● Follows directions; eager to learn systems
● Must have own transportation (to get to and from airport/office) and Valid Drivers License
● Experience driving box trucks up to 26 ft a plus

OVERVIEW
Brave New Films, a non-profit media organization that focuses on social justice documentaries and video, is seeking a co-producer/production manager for a short doc project currently in production. You will manage physical production of interviews featuring name talent and supervise some of post-production.


This will be a contracted freelance position with a part-time schedule over several weeks of production.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in collaboration with Director and Producer to execute the short doc concept.
Managing all aspects of pre-production and production of the film shoots, including sourcing locations, hiring crew and equipment, interfacing with talent and reps, call sheets, and being the on-set producer.
Handling all releases, permits, paperwork.
Managing expenses, tracking budget and production accounting.
Post supervision. Coordinating between director and editorial on cuts, graphics, archival clearance, fair use, and delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS
Producing and Production Manager experience on documentary, narrative, digital media and/or television.
On set experience dealing with talent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Google Suite, and management level knowledge of post workflows and systems.
Experience with doc scripting and basic editing on Premiere Pro a plus.

Looking for a Production Assistant for a Sports Collectible Ad shoot that's happening in Wappinger Falls NY. Must have a vehicle you can drive to set as you will need to do runs as needed.

We will provide mileage for your runs as well as mileage for you driving to Wappinger and home again. Just a 1 day shoot.

Helping with a shoot we are doing in a hospital. Basically helping us move the equipment around the hospital.
