The Senior Coordinator is a full time employee position for Ciel Creative Space in Berkeley, CA.
We are women owned & operated small business launched in 2019, and grown to 40,000+ square feet of studios and event space.

Our creative team requires highly motivated and passionate team members who have a desire to learn, grow, and contribute to Ciel’s mission. As part of the studio team, the Studio & Events Senior Coordinator will perform and execute organizational and creative tasks to all photo, video, and event rentals onsite. This full time role will be on-site to help field inquiries via phone and email, draft estimates, prep studios for shoots/events, be the day-of contact for studio productions, as well as provide support to the leadership team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2+ years of experience in the entertainment, design, or other creative business fields, assisting events/productions, studio or account management and working with vendors and clients or similar transferable skills and experience.
• Ability to work under pressure, take initiative in a leadership role and delegate to a team, and problem solve while maintaining a calm composure.
• Familiarity with event, video and photo shoot processes and equipment, including lighting & grip, camera, and production.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly with translating complex or technical concepts or requests, and comfort interacting with all levels of seniority within an organization.
• Highly organized and efficient, managing complex creative situations and people, and comfortable working in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the leadership team with onsite space management and production needs for incoming studio and event clients, maintaining the safety, security, and curation of the spaces.
• Represent the Ciel brand and field incoming inquiries via phone and email, schedule and lead tours. Anticipate potential client needs from inquiry to final completion.
• Coordinate with leadership team to ensure complete onsite staff coverage for the duration of studio rentals.
• Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure successful events and relationships.
• Assess client power needs and safe use of distro boxes and related equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and equipment partners as needed day-of, troubleshoot issues, assist with equipment recommendations and retrieval, and maintain an updated itemized list of all equipment used.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients. Support set-up, tear-down, and follow-up processes. Conduct final inspections to meet all necessary standards.
• Manage budget, sales, create estimates, invoicing, and other administrative duties before and after productions.
