ABC reality show seeking experienced testing assistant to work with seasoned production team. Ideal candidates should have some experience working in film, television, or in other media departments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Interface with our COVID-19 Testing Vendors and coordinate testing times and locations with local hires and contestants
-Ensure all pre-travel tests are scheduled for our core staff and crew as required by union guidelines.
-Email individual staff and crew their testing times and locations as information is released by our vendors. Get confirmation that information is received and they will attend the testing time as directed.
-Email contestants and their helpers their testing times and locations as information is released by our vendors. Get confirmation that information is received and they will attend the testing time as directed.
-Work with production on any conflicts regarding testing and testing locations
-Track any shipped COVID tests to ensure they arrive at their location on time
-Coordinate PAs to drop off tests at regional labs where required
-Help vet vendor invoices to ensure proper billing for tests
-Coordinate with CCOs to ensure their tests are always shipped out on time and test session emails are sent to the vendor
-Coordinate with CCOs to ensure they always have enough testing supplies on hand
-All other duties as assigned.

The rate is $17.1428/hour, on call for 12 hour days M-F for a total of $240.00/day + $25/week computer rental. OT will be rare but is paid at double time if it does need to occur.

Dates are M-F starting 10/18/21 through approximately 12/17/21.

Qualifications and Experience...

5 - 8 years post-production experience.
Must be able to consult on issues regarding camera selection, file naming protocols, editorial systems, workflow, final delivery and archive. Knowledge of codec and editorial workflows and camera recording systems a plus.
Must be able to communicate in technical terms with vendors and post-production staff, including but not limited to post supervisors, mixers, editors, and producers, while also being able to explain technical information in more layman terms.
Experience or knowledge of color correcting, working in a color managed workflow and UHD/HDR/ATMOS deliverables.
Must understand how to present themselves in a calm, friendly, professional manner and be able to handle stressful and delicate situations.
Must be detail-oriented and be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and cope with ever-changing post-production schedules, workflows, and delivery deadlines.
