This Business Intelligence Analyst role will support the FP&A team and will be responsible for developing and generating reports, insights & analysis on content discovery and performance. The analyst will identify business, marketing and content programming opportunities, challenges, and trends and be able to communicate findings effectively to a variety of partners in the content and programming vertical. This role will be focused on data analysis work related to *** +.
Responsibilities Include: - Define and deliver content focused key performance indicators and reporting, that will inform programming and content strategy
- Write SQL to query a data warehouse (BigQuery) for data in order to answer questions from a variety of partners in the content and product vertical, focused on (but not limited to) content discovery, performance and features
- Collaborate with measurement operations and data teams to ensure appropriate tracking is in place to perform needed reporting and analysis
- Present insights and recommendations to the business in a concise, confident and understandable manner
- Build and maintain statistical and spreadsheet models for forecasting, scenario planning, and other predictive work
- Use reporting/visualization tools such as Tableau, Data Studio to build das *** ards that allow non-data savvy users to generate insights and answer questions in a self-ser *** fashion
- Research industry trends and communicate how these could potentially impact the business
- Conduct pertinent reporting and analyses to ser *** product and content strategy needs
- Build das *** ards (using Tableau and other BI tools) that illustrate how key performance indicators and metrics are changing over time
- Refine reports, das *** ards, and insights based on the needs of a rapidly changing business
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting initiatives
- Develop our standard reporting for product and content key performance indicators and questions
- Perform Ad Hoc analysis on specific business problems and summarize findings in an accurate, concise, easy-to-understand manner
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience in digital marketing/entertainment sector
Additional Qualifications - Can provide accurate information in a usable form and on a timely basis.
- Demonstrated experience in translating data into insights in a clear and succinct manner, adjusting to a variety of styles and audiences
- Expert in SQL
- Knowledgeable in Tableau; Adobe Analytics; Data Studio
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel; Powerpoint)
- Ability to analyze and predict/forecast subscription key performance indicators
- Great presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate concepts to partners at all levels
- Ability to work in a fluid environment, against tight deadlines
- Interest in television, entertainment and pop culture
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Strong mathematics, statistics background
- Prior exposure to building & understanding financial models
- Experience using project management tools like those from Atlassian (JIRA, Co *** uence)
- Experience using Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery)
- A background in SVOD or other subscription-based digital services

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $64,800.00 - 81,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
