You need to know how to work on google workspace (i.e. google docs) and Slack and be able to report information and send daily updates. Supervising and scheduling production personnel is critical. A proven technical background in post-production is key!

Summary

The Project Mechanical Engineer II is assigned to project teams to provide technical direction and engineering vendor management on upgrades to existing attractions. Duties include technical leadership and subject matter expertise in a variety of Ride and Show system disciplines, auditing of third party design and engineering, execution of on- and off-site acceptance test procedures, and ownership of project documentation compliance.

The Project Mechanical Engineer II is responsible for ensuring all project work conforms with ASTM F24 Committee guidelines and compliant with applicable codes, regulations and standards including: AISC, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, AWS, JIC, NEC, and OSHA, among others. They may also provide guidance and oversight on these standards for the other Ride and Show Programs (RSP) team members.

This role has exposure to multiple different ride and show systems spanning multiple decades, each with its unique fun and challenges.
