Job Summary:

The COVID-19 Safety Officer will ensure that COVID-19 requirements are implemented onsite within the Melbourne office in line with current legislation and in conjunction with the Facilities team and department heads.

Responsibilities:

Lead and provide ad *** on COVID-19 health and safety planning for the Melbourne office according to best practice and legal guidelines
Determine requirements needed for each department to comply with guidelines
Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to Company COVID-19 guidelines as well as the law
Establish an onsite network of Cast Members to assist with implementation and monitoring of the program • Order and distribute supplies (PPE, disinfectants, etc.)
Establish plans to distribute and dispose of PPE throughout the office
Post and maintain approved signage and awareness campaigns
Draft plans for cleaning/sanitation schedules for all areas of the office
Enforce the Company COVID-19 safety policies and protocols in conjunction with management
Manage staffing and supplies for cleaning and disinfecting, including cleaning vendors
Provide reports to the Chief Financial Officer regarding concerns, violations, and compliance
Work closely with management to implement and ensure social distancing, density, PPE procedures are in line with Company COVID-19 guidelines and safety plan
Ensure required COVID-19 guideline and health compliance training briefing for all new employees and contractors is provided
Remain current on new trends, technology, and best practices in health and safety to improve the quality of COVID-19 risk management processes

Basic Qualifications:

Experience in an office setting and/or health care preferable
Workplace Health and Safety qualifications preferred

Ability to adapt to varying work environments, possesses a strong pro-active work ethic and quickly adapt to new responsibilities
Ability to escalate issues to the Chief Financial Officer
Ability to work well in a team environment
Good oral and written communication skills
Proven strong organisational skills including logistics, time management and scheduling
Must be a people person who can manage with confidence and maintain policy/protocol with the Company
Must be comfortable speaking to groups and providing training
Highly creative and driven to problem solve
Basic knowledge of safety and health standards and regulations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Desire to continue development of technical skills and industry knowledge

Associate, Physical Production Legal

*** seeks an experienced legal professional to join the Physical Production Legal team based in our Los Angeles office to focus on day-to-day production matters related to *** Original Content productions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing matters that arise throughout the production process and for collaborating with internal teams to coordinate, draft and review agreements necessary to produce the *** 's slate of high-profile series and film projects. This is an opportunity to be part of a public company with a great consumer brand and the future of streaming content.

Responsibilities include:

Drafting and reviewing below the line production and third party agreements (e.g., physical production department head agreements; casting director agreements; animation independent contractor agreements; certificates of engagement; vendor/rental agreements, equipment rental agreements, aviation & drone rental agreements, watercraft agreements; location agreements, production office space/stage/facilities lease agreements; post production agreements and visual effects agreements).
Drafting agreements used in connection with production issues (locations, equipment, vendors, etc.).
Work with the producers and production personnel on *** 's Original Content productions regarding day-to-day legal issues during prep, principal and post-production.
Working cross functionally with *** 's various internal partners including the Production, Business, Finance, Health and Safety, Tax, Real Estate, Risk Management teams to maintain alignment and facilitate communication *** ween departments.
Maintaining flexibility and openness to take on additional projects as necessary.

Requirements:

An undergraduate degree and at least 3 to 5 years of production or business and legal affairs experience in the film or television industry.
JD or Paralegal certification preferred, but not required.
High level of organization, detail orientation and ability to time-manage across multiple deadlines.
Ability to work proactively, independently and reliably on multiple projects under tight timeframes in a fast-paced production environment and quickly assess risk.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate *** ween cross-functional teams.
Tech-savvy individual, including proficiency with Google Suite and cloud-based document and database systems.
