Job DescriptionThe Role:
The Sales Strategy group is looking for exceptional candidates for the position of Senior Manager, Global Ad Sales Strategy. This role will be focused on scaling our global *** business by working with sales, operations, research, technology and other stakeholder groups across both *** U and its partners and sister companies to drive advertiser success around the world. A passionate, well-organized and highly-effective individual is sought to join our team.
You will be joining a blue chip team with significant *** experience in addition to varied professional services backgrounds. The *** U Ad Sales Strategy team is responsible for driving long-term growth opportunities for the wider sales organization. Acting as strategic consultants, this dynamic team supports Ad Sales and corporate stakeholders across a wide range of initiatives including sales optimization, go-to-market strategies, budgeting and planning analyses, and market insights.
The Role: The Sr. Manager, Global Ad Sales Strategy will be responsible for integration efforts across Ad Sales for all teams under Comcast *** Universal with a global remit ( *** U Int'l, Sky, *** Int'l) and its Global partners. This individual will be creating high-level strategies and project planning towards future initiatives, but also implementing them at the working level with each of the teams.This role will be expected to work with colleagues across multiple functions, both inside and outside Ad Sales as well as across our *** U, Sky and partner businesses. We're looking for a dynamic person to bring innovative thinking and strong analytical skills to help grow our business.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Global Growth Strategy: mapping areas for short and long term growth for *** U's international expansion efforts across geographies, sectors, content areas and partnerships
- Upfront Strategy: designing optimal strategy for driving revenue across *** U & Sky's key agency partners and clients
- Digital Strategic Initiatives: owning the full GTM strategy to monetize our global digital inventory, and develop project plan for future digital growth in areas such as programmatic & streaming
- Account & Prospecting Analysis: analyze competitive spend analyses, external marketplace reports, and internal sales engagement statistics to predict top global prospects
- Revenue Planning - Budget/Long-Range Planning: support Finance & Sales with developing sales targets by region/team and execution plans to deliver
- Executive Readouts: provide updates to Ad Sales leadership and Corporate stakeholders on core cross-functional workstreams, risks and opportunities
- Ad-Hoc Sales Support: (1) Work cross-functionally to coordinate and execute all Ad Sales growth efforts across *** U Global across multiple teams and time zones; (2) Identify new revenue opportunities via internal analytics/market/sales feedback; (3) Perform research on competitive intelligence, benchmarking and trend analytics across the global *** landscape to inform our strategy
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of previous relevant work experience in professional services (ie. Consulting, banking) or *** experience at a large network/publisher/agency
- Ability to produce executive level presentations and summarize complex ideas into actionable solutions (proficiency in power-point required)
- Proven quantitative analytical abilities, including Excel modeling skills and data manipulation
- Strong project management skills and able to collaborate and connect dots across different workstreams & teams
- Must possess a passion for *** and strong intellectual curiosity
- Solutions-oriented, helping to figure out and solve challenges
- Strong team player
- BA/BS required
Desired Characteristics:
- Excellent organizational, time and people management skills and the ability to work in groups and independently
- Experience with programmatic, digital video, and streaming services
- Strong understanding of insights & measurement - experience with tools such as Nielsen, Kantar, GWI, Tubular, etc.
- Global experience and understanding of key EMEA, APAC, and LATAM markets
- Ability to navigate through ambiguous projectsindependently and resourcefully

Salary range: $95,000 - 125,000, bonus elidible
