Manager, Data & Targeting Ad Product

Key Responsibilities:

Develop consumer-first targeting and data insights capabilities in support of driving success for our advertising partners
Leverage strong analytical skills and an inquisitive nature to identify, design and execute an iterative product development and optimization pipeline
Ability to research consumer and advertiser trends to qualify product development decisions
Define and analyze KPIs that inform the success of products and efficiency of operations

Qualifications:

4+ years of digital *** , ad operations, or product management experience
Familiarity with large datasets and AI / ML-driven optimization models and algorithms is a big plus, specifically within the digital and linear advertising ecosystem/domain
Advanced expertise in Excel; and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, etc. is also a plus
Experience with and knowledge of buy-side and/or sell-side advertising data, digital ad serving and automated buying technologies for segmentation, targeting and insights against advertising use cases
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data to back up product ideas & assumptions
Experience setting up processes for project intake and monitoring of and reporting on product health and success

Portfolio showing your ability to use data and programming to uncover and report important news segments with revelatory findings that are communicated clearly in writing, images, graphics, web design, and data visualization. While you may not have produced every visual in the work, you should show be able to show your ability to i *** uence and work with designers, graphic artists and data visualization specialists.
Experience producing multiplatform content preferred, especially experience developing stories for video, streaming or broadcast.
Expert-level skill with Excel or Google Sheets. Data analysis skills, preferably using at least one programming language such as Python or R. Knowledge of geographic information systems, spatial analysis and SQL databases helpful.
