You New Role

This is a 6-month maternity cover starting ideally at the end of August. Supporting the Lead, Content Acquisitions, Partnerships and Co-Productions, this role manages *** Discover's EMEA Kids teams' efforts to identify and secure 3rd party acquisitions, co-productions and pre-buys that will complement WBD's owned content pipeline and drive kids and family viewing across EMEA platforms, specifically Max, *** , Cartoonito, *** and Boing.

Your Role Accountabilities

Support the Lead, Content Acquisitions, Partnerships and Co-Productions, and local kids editorial leads, in defining and executing the 3rd party content strategy for EMEA kids with a specific focus on Max, *** and Cartoonito.
Primary point of contact within the Kids EMEA Content Strategy & Acquisitions team for agreed 3rd party distributors and producers. Responsible for sourcing avails, taking pitches, reviewing and feeding back on creative materials.
Manage WBD Kids EMEA's working relationships with 3rd party content creators and content providers.
Editorial input across editorial views across EMEA
Supervision and mentoring of 2 acquisition coordinators.
Lead the internal production process for select 3rd party co-productions, liaising with compliance, legal and relevant editorial leads and providing production notes and guidance to ensure content meets expected editorial standards.
Leading 2-3 co-productions a year through WBD's internal production process, ensuring that final deliveries are of the required editorial standard.
Manage the acquisition and co-production of up to 100 hours of kids and family content each year for *** , Cartoonito and Max.
Support the Lead to work with international acquisitions and co-production teams aligning priorities globally and regionally wherever possible.
Regularly represent WBD Kids EMEA at events and markets (e.g. Mip, Mipcom, Kidscreen, Annecy, Cartoon Forum) as required.

Skills and Experience

• Contact customers for the prompt collection or resolution of the aged receivables using email, telephone calls and more
• Keep adequate records of call contacts with customers
• Perform follow-up's on accounts with significant aging or past due amounts
• Manage & solve customer discrepancies (ensuring proper communication with ad sales, CSR's & partners)
• Meet individual cash collection targets (Aging, DSO, % of Overdue, etc.)
• Provide the management team with periodic cash forecast projections

What you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent
Minimum 1- 3 years engineering experience in software development or software QA test.
Experience with automated software test frameworks
Experience with git, or similar source control
Scripting language experience with Ruby, Perl, Python or other similar language.
MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Experience in Ticket Creation/Bug Tracking tools such as JIRA
PC hardware architecture, including USB etc.
Good public speaking and presentation skills.
Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to "internal client" and customer ser *** principles.
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
Spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must have legal right to work in the US.
