Maslow media is in search of a Camera Operator (Robo Op/Shader) for our global telecommunications partner in Dallas, TX.
This is a part-time, temporary role on an as-needed basis.
The Camera Operator (Robo Op/Shader) will operate robotic cameras for live and pre-recorded productions.
Responsibilities:
Provide Technical operational support for our studio and control room teams.
Ensure that lighting and camera settings comply with company preset guidelines, the quality of the final output, through the camera shot composition, framing, and lighting for live and prerecorded programs as directed.
Test the functionality of all necessary equipment before shooting live and prerecorded news or programs (i.e. camera, lenses, monitors.
Camera robotic system, CCU for each camera, lighting equipment, LEDs, Fresnel, cool light, lighting desk)
Perform camera lineupsmatching camera parameters for color and exposure.
Comply with directed camera compositions and framings during live/prerecorded news or programs according to the Media instructions and as per news or program requirements
Operate Multiple Robotic Camera Control System, Jimmy Jib, or Hand Held camera system.
Monitor cameras video level via a waveform monitor for quality control in terms of luminance and chrominance levels maintaining
Output to industry set standards and settings.
Control and balance lighting levels via the lighting desk/ lighting control units
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in TV, Media, or related field in Camera and Lighting operations.
Previous experience in broadcast tv video camera and lighting or related field.
Advanced experience in jib, pedestal, and hand-held camera experience.
Advanced knowledge in studio lighting and lighting desk program
Good communication skills
Pay Range: $65.63 - $87.50
