- Title: Central Washington Healthcare Worker Recruitment
- Job Requirements: Must be local to location (or willing to work as a local).
Local applicants only (Production will not cover miles, time, hotel or per diem for non-locals)
We need an experienced production assistant / grip / 2nd camera operator to help us film an interview-based short documentary project May 17-19 in Yakima. The job is mainly production assistant, but because we need help monitoring camera and helping carry and set up lighting equipment, we will pay grip / camera op rate. Please share your day rate in your application.
The production is three (3) approximately 2-min videos of nurses and healthcare workers sharing their stories and promoting union membership at a hospital in rural Central Washington.
We are shooting 2-4 interviews per day plus b-roll, documentary style. 2 camera angles, Canon cameras. Rolling sound into the camera. Simple LED lighting set up. Very streamlined production. Looking for a bit of a jack-of-all-trades to help—past experience operating camera, working with LED lights, general equipment familiarity and ability to lift 50 pounds all helpful.
We will cover 3 days rate (Tuesday, Wednesday, half-day Thursday plus travel time), lodging (same hotel as us, coming in from out of town) and meals with the crew or per diem 10/15/25 breakfast/lunch/dinner.
Please include your (overnight) day rate in your application.
