- Job Requirements: Must be local to location (or willing to work as a local).
I'm looking for a cinematographer who can supply his own gear and his own assistant for a corporate video of 3-4 minutes. This will be a crew of three: you and your AC, plus me directing and conducting the interviews and b-roll.
We will need an EVA1 or better camera capable of shooting at a minimum 4k24p 10 bit for interviews and 4k60p 10 bit for b-roll.
We already shot a bunch of the footage, but the office in Houston ended up getting a renovation after the shoot, so they want us to come back for interviews and b-roll now that it's finished. I estimate 1.5 days but we are booking for 2 fun just in case.
One day will be for the interviews, and one day for b-roll (in the office: meeting re-enactments; office activity; strategy meetings; and possibly something outside like a construction site in Houston).
You will need to record audio direct to camera (interviews only). I have audio gear like a boom pole, Sennheiser MKE 416, and Senn AVX Lav mics, but if you're more comfortable with your own, or have your own, there is less for me to bring from LA.
Gear you must provide:
Main cam
Gimbal
Lights
Slider and/or jib
Support and grip gear
Directors monitor*
* Preferred but not required.I have an Atomos Ninja V I can use if necessary, but do not have a wireless rig.
I would prefer to find someone with their own assistant they have worked with before. Please send your reels, resume, a list of proposed gear and your rate for two days. I have audio gear for the interviews, but if you are more comfortable with your own, let me know.
Shoot date is TBD but will likely be last week of January. Thanks.
