Seeking a cinematographer for a dark comedy short film intended for film festival submissions.

Our previous work has screened at Academy Award and BAFTA Qualifying festivals.

This will be a one day shoot in an upscale restaurant/bar in Manhattan.
Shoot date is late June/early July. (T.B.D.)

Here's the logline: In this dark comedy, a man comes face to face with his own guilt and white privilege after an ancestry report forces him to confront his family’s dark past.

Fee is negotiable based on type of equipment/insurance

This job is in the early stages and we're currently exploring the story and overall approach for the video. Six Half Dozen has worked on many corporate videos, usually operating on a one man approach — especially in interview settings. Our client General Theological Seminary has grown to trust our work and would like to produce a short 2 to 3 minute video (pilot) that explores the history around the world renowned poem, 'Twas a night before Christmas' — the poem was written in 1822 in the grounds of GTS and this piece poses to educate a wider audience.

6HD is looking to find a Cinematographer that can work to provide support to help elevate the captured footage. The hope here is that through spending project budget on an experienced cinematographer — we can maximize production time and budget — while also ensuring the end video is cinematic and opens the door for a better end production.


The timeline is a little wide open now — But it's my understanding they would like to feature this before Christmas 2023.

Seeking professional Cinematographer - Local hire to Austin with their own professional camera. (Required) - RED, ARRI, BlackMagic, etc. Must be capable of shooting in 4k.

Self identified women and military Veterans encouraged to apply.

This long short film (33 pages) will not start shooting until FALL 2024, with a total of 6 days split over a period of time, primarily on weekends.
Multiple locations: Primarily in Austin, but with one location being in Waco and one other TBD (But will be outside of Austin). Mileage for travel for these days will be covered in addition to regular rate.

WORST ENEMY - After receiving a devastating diagnosis, a severely depressed veteran who hides his pain through self-isolation and alcohol must accept the help of his famous cousin or risk becoming just another statistic.

Unfortunately we cannot consider anyone that lives outside the state of Texas for logistical reasons. The 6 days of filming are not contiguous and would require too much travel to be reasonable. It would not be financially feasible for anyone to travel from outside of Texas for this position.

Now the company is looking to up the production quality of the marketing and advertising materials with a series of product videos.

Location: The factory and shoot location is based in South Los Angeles.

Job: Seeking a well versed videographer with strong product cinematography background to help create a series of 5 to 8 videos of a new product line launch. Please be able to shoot and/or export in both vertical (for YouTube) and horizontal (for Instagram and TicToc) format for multi-platform distribution.

Applicants: Applicants should be self starting, able to both take and give direction, and execute a series of videos that have high production quality and consistency on a new line of office furniture products. Applicant should be a creative with imagination on how to let the user imagine themselves using the products. Ultimately, the finished product videos should capture the strong design and innovative products created by Versa.

Experience: It is preferred that applicant has at least some experience and we strongly recommend submitting a portfolio. Looking for a person with experience in filmmaking from concept to production to final edit is strongly preferred. Recent film graduates can apply or persons with post graduate experience that can to execute a series of videos is paramount to what the company seeks.

Requirements: You must own your own gear - camera, tripod, lights, etc. You will need to do the casting, production and coordination for the videos. You will need to be able to edit the videos with voice over, music, and text/logos. Please submit links for portfolio for review. Please also state expected rates and availability. Job is expected to last 3 to 6 months in which time 5 to 8 videos will be produced.

Looking for a DIT / data wrangler for a 1-day shoot for a recruitment project for a defense company. This is a 1-camera shoot (FX6).

Duties:

- possibly wrangling client monitor

Jupiter Entertainment seeks an experienced Camera Operator as local as possible to Houston, TX to join us for 11 shoot days between 6/19 & 7/3 with exact dates to be confirmed.

This shoot will consist of single on-camera talent with two cameras for sit-down interviews (taking place indoors) and stylized b-roll. Interview and true crime experience is strongly preferred. Gear will be provided, a team-oriented attitude is a must!
