We are looking for a DP who lives in San Francisco with experience in creating commercials for a one day shoot at a mansion and around wine country. I am looking for a DP that has lighting equipment and team. The rate will vary depending on the equipment.

We are looking for an ARRI owner/operator who's willing to stick it out on this proof of concept and still give 100% and make it look as good as possible. We will be doing an Academy Eligible Festival Run at the beginning of 2024.

I know this is very very low pay for a cinematographer, especially one with an ARRI kit, but this a low budget, self funded proof of concept. There is a very good chance that with the story being told, it gets picked up for the long run.

Minimum flat rate of $500 for a 2 day shoot ($250/day), up to a maximum of $1,000 for a 2 day shoot ($500/day). The $500 rate is for just the DP so there's money leftover for the gear rentals. $1,000 flat rate is if the DP brings everything minus the lenses.

Seeking a cinematographer for a dark comedy short film intended for film festival submissions.

Our previous work has screened at Academy Award and BAFTA Qualifying festivals.

This will be a one day shoot in an upscale restaurant/bar in Manhattan.

Here's the logline: In this dark comedy, a man comes face to face with his own guilt and white privilege after an ancestry report forces him to confront his family’s dark past.

This job is in the early stages and we're currently exploring the story and overall approach for the video. Six Half Dozen has worked on many corporate videos, usually operating on a one man approach — especially in interview settings. Our client General Theological Seminary has grown to trust our work and would like to produce a short 2 to 3 minute video (pilot) that explores the history around the world renowned poem, 'Twas a night before Christmas' — the poem was written in 1822 in the grounds of GTS and this piece poses to educate a wider audience.

6HD is looking to find a Cinematographer that can work to provide support to help elevate the captured footage. The hope here is that through spending project budget on an experienced cinematographer — we can maximize production time and budget — while also ensuring the end video is cinematic and opens the door for a better end production.


The timeline is a little wide open now — But it's my understanding they would like to feature this before Christmas 2023.

Seeking professional Cinematographer - Local hire to Austin with their own professional camera. (Required) - RED, ARRI, BlackMagic, etc. Must be capable of shooting in 4k.

Looking for local freelancers with sports videography experience to be camera operators for Summer Celebration 2023, a boys lacrosse tournament in Williamsburg, VA on June 17th and 18th.

Estimated hours are 7am to 4pm on Saturday, 6/18 and 7am to 2pm on Sunday 6/17.

Camera ops will be stationed at the midline and film wide game film for each game. Camera + Gear will be provided by company. Camera ops will be stationed in either podium ladders or scaffolding.

We are seeking a talented and passionate Director of Photography for a short film set on a beautiful horse farm upstate. This low-budget production will be filmed, mostly under available light conditions, requiring the DP to have a strong understanding of natural lighting techniques. The ideal candidate should have experience in location filming and should be comfortable around horses.

This is a coming of age story of two freshman high school girls. The story follows the challenges they face in finding themselves, and acceptance, in this day and age.

Our lead actress is one of the main characters in ARE YOU THERE GOD? IT’S ME, MARGARET. And is an avid competitive horse rider.

Production team and lead actors are are all experienced professionals.

Looking for:
- Proven experience as a Director of Photography in short films or similar projects
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in available light shooting and location filming
- Reel showing actors in scenes with dialogue (not presentation to camera)
- A comfort being around, and working around horses

The other footage is shot on a Red Komodo Cinema cam (Codec: R3D Red raw LQ, 23.98fps, 6k for interview and 4k UHD for b-roll). We don't have to use a RED and something similar would work.
