The Digital Content Manager works with other newsroom leaders to oversee daily news editorial decisions while also setting strategic goals for the newsroom. This includes managing breaking news coverage, special project content, franchise support and directing digital strategy for ****.COM as well as our app, social *** , SEO, OTT/streaming, push alerts, voice platforms, newsletter and more. This person will play a key role in charting the station's digital content and growth strategy.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the digital content team in both news and programming and lead digital strategy to grow multi-platform content, audience and engagement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or equivalent experience in the field
• At least 5 years of breaking news content experience, including at least three years formally or informally leading other digital journalists
• Solid journalistic judgment and a news philosophy that emphasizes accurate, fair, and unique local content, along with community engagement
• A commitment to valuing diversity, equity and inclusion and experience contributing to an inclusive workplace
• A deep understanding of SEO best practices for articles, images, and video
• Ability to calmly handle live, breaking news situations and the ability to deal with the rapid pace of news
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems and news production systems along with social newsgathering tools

Digital Content Manager

****-TV, the *** affiliate in Westbrook, Maine is looking for an experienced multi-platform journalist to build our station's digital strategy. The Digital Content Manager is responsible for overall management and direction for all digital content efforts of our website and social *** efforts along with developing strategies on emerging platforms. The Audio Engineer, A1 is responsible for the sound mixing and quality of all PIX11 Morning's Show live broadcasts. Must mix all Talent Mics, playback sources, sound FX, musical instruments, foldback on the studio floor, IFB, and Mix Minus feeds to Talent. Must manage the station's Intercom system, including both RTS Adam and Riedel systems. Plan and execute the mixing of entertainment and musical acts appearing on the show, both in the Studio, PIX Plaza and incoming remote feeds. Oversee the A2 assigned to the Studio floor to ensure all Talent, Guests and Performers are properly mic'd and ready in advance of Air.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The successful candidate will be able to listen to Director's or Overdrive operator commands and react swiftly and accurately to mix a clean show during live News, Entertainment and pre-recorded programming.
• Must be able to route numerous mix minus to remotes, set up numerous RF microphones and IFBs.
• The successful candidate must mix live television News and Entertainment segments within a 7 hour Morning block with very little setup / preparation time.
• The successful candidate should be a problem solver and quickly resolve issues and work around problems that arise during live news broadcasts.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and concisely to the entire production team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Five plus (5+) years' experience in professional live television broadcast operations required.

Previous live show audio mixing experience required.

Experience with Wheatstone, CalRec and Yamaha audio boards as well as Dante Audio required. Must be proficient in operation of RTS's AZ Edit.

Working knowledge of Shure wireless workbench.

Must work well in a collaborative team environment and be able to multitask.

Excellent PC and Network skills along with working knowledge of common business software applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Job Summary:

The Publishing Operations team oversees key components of Marvel's weekly publishing schedule. The group is an integral team across the manufacturing cycle, overseeing the production of thousands of titles annually. Some of the group's key duties include title and metadata management, manufacturing, and inventory management.

This role supports the publishing manufacturing process; working with external vendors and coordinating with internal lines of business to produce a variety of printed materials, with a focus on our trades and hardcover business. This includes the responsibility for coordinating Marvel's weekly comic production workflow. The candidate would be responsible for tracking and following up on all stakeholder approvals before sending the books to production. And assist the shipping manager with tracking the weekly deliveries to our distributors.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate weekly manufacturing process for Marvel Publishing
• Compile and distribute weekly production schedules to partners
• Coordinate vendor bids
• Assist with daily operations of file transfer site and weekly transmission of files to printers
• Manage specifications, communications, schedules, and file submissions for international manufacturing operations
• Assist shipping manager with transportation and delivery of projects from vendor to final destination

The hiring range for this position in New York is $44,200.00 - $60,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
