Looking for a costume designer / wardrobe supervisor for an an upcoming non-union feature that will be filming in an around Carpinteria and Ventura, shoot dates run from mid-October through mid-November. *Day rate to include all needed kit/equipment. Right now we are only looking for local crew, please only submit if you can be hired as a local and are within a 25 minute drive to Carpinteria. We are seeking a creative and resourceful Costume Designer to join our team for an upcoming independent film. This is a unique opportunity for an individual passionate about storytelling through apparel, to bring characters to life in a visually compelling manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in costume design , with a keen ability to work within budget constraints and source materials creatively. This role requires collaboration with the director and actors to develop and execute a cohesive visual style that enhances the narrative and character development of the film.

As this is a low-budget independent project, we are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and is adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently. The Costume Designer will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of costume production from concept to final on-screen appearance, including sewing, alterations, and on-set adjustments. This position offers the chance to be intimately involved in the filmmaking process and to make a significant impact on the look and feel of the film. Candidates with a portfolio demonstrating previous work in a feature film(s) will be given preference.

Basic Qualifications:

Shift duty is required (9 Hours per day, earliest shift starts 7:00am, latest shift ends 10:30pm)
