Low budget Tier 0 feature film by first time LGTBQ+ writer/director/actor is looking to start prep in February and shoot in March for 18 days (5-day weeks).

Although this production is tiny, our producers have over 100 years combined experience of BTL and ATL on award winning mega budget commercial feature film and TV series and have produced projects that have been at SXSW, Sundance, Tribeca, Toronto, etc and have been studio execs on major award-winning films. This is truly a passion project that we all believe in and care about, so we would love to have a crew that also values the work as much as we do. Just because we are low budget doesn't mean we have a low-budget mentality; we respect and care about our crew and want everyone to have a good experience, but be forewarned that our resources will be tight.

Rate, start date and project will be discussed in further detail after submission process.

Again, this is a TIER 0 LOW BUDGET feature.

We are seeking a creative and resourceful Costume Designer to join our team for an upcoming independent film. This is a unique opportunity for an individual passionate about storytelling through apparel, to bring characters to life in a visually compelling manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in costume design , with a keen ability to work within budget constraints and source materials creatively. This role requires collaboration with the director and actors to develop and execute a cohesive visual style that enhances the narrative and character development of the film.

As this is a low-budget independent project, we are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and is adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently. The Costume Designer will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of costume production from concept to final on-screen appearance, including sewing, alterations, and on-set adjustments. This position offers the chance to be intimately involved in the filmmaking process and to make a significant impact on the look and feel of the film. Candidates with a portfolio demonstrating previous work in a feature film(s) will be given preference.

Basic Qualifications:

Shift duty is required (9 Hours per day, earliest shift starts 7:00am, latest shift ends 10:30pm)
