We are shooting a low budget horror creature feature film. This is a skeleton crew and so we are looking for a proactive person with a positive personality, drive, and initiative to help us bring this movie to fruition.

Being this is a low budget production, the Costume Designer would be the entire costume department. They would be responsible for coordinating with the director and designing looks for all of the cast, purchasing clothes, keeping track of wardrobe and doubles, distressing clothing where needed, and monitoring all wardrobe on set.

Cast list:
1 Male Lead
1 Female Lead
1 Supporting Character: Sheriff
1 Supporting Character: Deputy (Need to design and assemble small town cop uniform)
13 Day Players: Most of these people would be using their own clothing for scenes, but you would need to coordinate with them to choose their outfit.

The production will be split between Williamstown, MA and Mt Washington, MA and so we are looking for someone specifically local to the area who can bounce around scouting out thrift stores, and the like, to really stretch a dollar.

6 day weeks, 18 production days.

**Must have car and willing to drive to and from sets daily** (No hotel accommodations)

We are seeking a creative and resourceful Costume Designer to join our team for an upcoming independent film. This is a unique opportunity for an individual passionate about storytelling through apparel, to bring characters to life in a visually compelling manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in costume design , with a keen ability to work within budget constraints and source materials creatively. This role requires collaboration with the director and actors to develop and execute a cohesive visual style that enhances the narrative and character development of the film.

As this is a low-budget independent project, we are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and is adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently. The Costume Designer will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of costume production from concept to final on-screen appearance, including sewing, alterations, and on-set adjustments. This position offers the chance to be intimately involved in the filmmaking process and to make a significant impact on the look and feel of the film. Candidates with a portfolio demonstrating previous work in a feature film(s) will be given preference.
