We are looking for a camera operator to op a roving single between two speakers, following the conversation. Also, there will be a locked-off wide next to the camera that may need intermittent supervision. We will be working with five Sony FX9 cameras in total to cover a 4-person seated conversation.

Details:
We are looking for an AC to support our upcoming production. We will be working with five Sony FX9 cameras that need to get sent to video village. Scenes will mostly be a locked-off conversation.

Looking for a DP/Videographer to film various types of content. All very low budget 1-2 people gigs. The style ranges from small product ads to car reviews and interviews. Content is for various social media channels. Filming 5-10 videos per month and most of the shoots are under 5 hours.

Please have basic camera, lighting gear, gimbal and sound gear. Please be comfortable operating as a one man band.

Rate is $500 per day (5-10 days of work monthly)

Have a job this Sunday September 8th in Santa Clarita and another in Hollywood September 14th.

This is a 2 day shoot that pays a flat rate of $500 per day plus food allowance and mileage. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring two cameras to ensure sharp focus and optimal composition throughout each interview, as well as overseeing audio quality to prevent any disruptions or external noise that could compromise the integrity of sound bites. Additionally, we may require your assistance in striking and relocating the setup between rooms as needed. You will also be responsible for keeping batteries charged and ensuring the cameras are prepared for our team member working alongside you. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, making it a straightforward opportunity for a professional.

We’re looking for a skilled assistant camera operator with DSLR expertise to join us for an engaging project in Arcadia, CA. This two-day shoot offers a flat rate of $500, plus mileage reimbursement and a food allowance.

Project Details:

We’ll be capturing marketing and testimonial videos for a dental practice, both inside the office and with some exterior shots.

Assistant Camera Responsibilities:

Operate the camera with a strong understanding of the Sony A7s III.
Handle 8-10 hours of video production each film day.
Follow the provided photography shot list.
Use provided camera settings and adhere to photo guidelines.
Monitor the camera during filming for audio and focus.
Assist with production wrap-up tasks.
You’ll ensure proper composition, audio quality, and color balance for interview cameras, maintaining sharp focus throughout each interview. You’ll also help move lights and cameras based on set changes and lighting preferences.

Requirements:

Proficient with Sony full-frame DSLRs.
Efficient, organized, and attentive to the director’s needs.
Strong understanding of video production workflow.
Ability to work well with our Progressive Dental Videographer flying in from Florida.
Medical or dental shooting experience is a plus.
Compensation:

$250 per day plus mileage and a food allowance, this is a 2 day shoot.
Up to $20 reimbursement each film day for lunch (excluding alcohol and tips over 20%).
Mileage reimbursable outside of 25 miles from the shoot location at the IRS rate.

No equipment required.
Must live within an hour of the location (mileage reimbursed at GSA standard rate).
Itemized receipts required for lunch reimbursement.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Director of Photography (DP) for the short film “Ponderosa,” written and directed by Christian Plenty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cinematography, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the film industry. Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the director to achieve the visual style and look of the film.
Plan and execute both indoor and outdoor scenes with a keen eye for detail and composition.

We will be filming a feature-length documentary about a group who reclaim and train wild ponies in Nevada, Utah and Southern California. The doc will end following a long ride of several hundred miles. Will involve travel, some rough living and a lot of shooting on the go.

The ideal DP should be comfortable working in a wide variety environments, situations and lighting conditions, all on the go, often with minimal power or grip. We'll also expect you to shoot beautifully-lit studio sit-down interviews, gorgeous panoramas and interesting verite. You will also be in charge of a B and C cam, so the ability to direct coverage of B-roll is a must. We're hoping for a final product that combines the look of Haskell Wexler with a touch of Errol Morris.

Project shoots for three weeks at the end of September, with a week of prep in late August. Based out of L.A. All travel and lodging is paid. Camera package is still TBD, but likely Alexa mini or C300 mkIII. Open to considering a package from you for an additional rental if you have one.

Ability to ride a horse is a strong plus.
