RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Generate and run pitches and ongoing series lists/grids, development reports, writer lists, tracking the marketplace and other platforms, and other documents and databases for all aspects of development and production.
• Research and build a robust writer list.
• Compile and analyze information about the marketplace and other platforms.
• Liaise with other departments to help maintain master development and ongoing series lists/grids/tracking.
• Attend pitches and development meetings, and take notes.
• Give creative feedback, analysis, and coverage on pitches and ongoing series.
• Coordinate with Production and Marketing Department to manage communications and maintain development and production timelines/schedules.
• Some administrative tasks including such as overseeing scheduling, arranging meetings, organizing all development files/documents related to all pitches and ongoing series.
REQUIREMENTS :
• 2+ years of experience at agency, studio, network, or production company
• Ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints.
• Strong understanding of story, theme, tone, structure, plot, and narrative arcs.
