- Have you worked as a Head Of Development or Development Exec at a production company or network?
We are looking for a Head Of Development to oversee our expansion in original programming and non-scripted series. Ideally someone who is LA based and has worked as both a buyer and seller in the non-scripted space.
Identify trends in music, culture, entertainment and tech to help establish the strategic development goals for the company.
Generate and develop new ideas, including identifying and securing new talent for projects in development.
Maintain existing and establish new relationships with external agents, brands and possible co-pro partners to expand the range of opportunities.
Identify new business opportunities, pursuing potential deals where appropriate.
Oversee the development of internal formats, from initial idea through to creation of treatment. Create and edit written materials, oversee sizzle tapes in order to sell to potential network and streaming partners.
Work to develop and enhance current relationships with broadcasters worldwide.
Close co-operation with London based team where required to create a workflow between the UK & US.
