Condé Nast is looking for a senior creative to work with the Health category to develop content initiatives in the category. The Director of Content Development is a highly strategic, highly creative position that plays a lead role in defining Condé Nast’s video-first Health content offering to the marketplace. This person will oversee development of quality custom programs and scalable franchises that create opportunities for brand/product integration, while equally ensuring all content is imbued with our editorial DNA. The Director of Content Development is ultimately responsible for maintaining the premium aesthetic and creative integrity of the category’s output.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new content video franchises and custom programs that excite audiences and advertisers alike, embodies our brand voice while responding to a clear marketplace demand and generate revenue.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop new proactive offerings, while also managing weekly RFP responses. This internal collaboration includes Strategy, Editorial, Sales, Marketing, and Production.
- Pitch and sell through big ideas to key clients. This role is highly client-facing and requires a consultative approach to pitching.
- Oversee the development of best practices for content creation, always elevating and evolving the video voice of our branded content portfolio. Ensure creative excellence, cohesiveness, and quality across all creative.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a content development capacity for brands (i.e. Creative Director or Executive Producer), preferably at a digital publisher’s branded content studio or agency. A deep understanding of how content and marketing work in tandem to move audiences is a must.
- A natural curiosity for Storytelling in the Health space in all its possible forms, with a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities content partnerships, represent, the ideal candidate is exploring new frontiers
- A video-first approach to content development and a nuanced understanding of what makes for successful video across digital and social media.
- Exceptional creative thinking and writing skills, and the ability to inspire others to do their best work.
Passion for the Health sector and lifestyle, pop culture, entertainment, and the breadth of Conde Nast’s portfolio.
