Small established prod-co in NYC area is seeking to grow its small non-fiction/reality department and seeks a Director of development. Applicants should have a track record of several years of creating shows from concept through green light, have relationships with key executives at cable networks, and be enthusiastic about working at a small company. To start with, this will effectively be a one person department where you will cast, cut tapes, write pitches and go to meetings. An entrepreneurial spirit is essential. Our programming background consists largely of feature documentaries, food and home improvement. If you have a track record of -sold shows= in these or similar spaces we would love to hear from you. Of course remote work is fine for now but if we ever go back to the office, it will be helpful to be in the NYC area and ultimately working in a NYC office.
