Hey there, we're looking for a solo filmmaker who can do it all.

For this project you will be recording an interview with our client and capturing b-roll, and also be responsible for setting up lights, running audio, and operating a teleprompter. We really are looking for someone who can do it all.

We are looking for someone who has all of their own equipment for cam, lighting, and audio. If you have a teleprompter, great, let us know that when applying. And if you need to rent one we will cover that cost as well.

The shoot is in Scottsdale, AZ.

Rate is $1000 for a 10 hour day, including gear.

Found footage feature, a la Paranormal Activity franchise, relying on the actors to shoot some footage on a camcorder and the rest to be captured on iPhones acting as surveillance/security cams. iPhone & 4K camcorder (though we are open to DP's preferred means to capture the surveillance footage).

The DP will not have to operate per se, and instead focus on helping design the look of the film as well as manage/oversee the capturing of footage. We will collaborate with the DP and defer to them for best workflow, including getting footage from camera to computer/drive.

This is going to be a 5 or 6 day shoot within the 12/11-12/18 range. We will pay for gas and feed you and, of course, DP credit.

I’m based in LA and have an upcoming interview style shoot with Microsoft on 12/13 and 12/14. We’ll interview Microsoft Employees on a sound stage against seamless. Very straight forward. I’m gathering a short list of local DPs that are avail to present to our Director today 11/30/23.

Scorpion Marketing is seeking a 3-person crew for a corporate production happening for across (2) around December 14th-15th, 2023. The crew will be setting up interviews taking place at a law firm office for a series of FAQ-style and bio videos. Additionally, we will need dynamic footage for B-roll material. The three person team is expected to handle two cameras, audio, and lighting with professional, commercial quality. Ideally, the crew member is made up of 2 shooters and one audio engineer.

Crew members that are local in the area will be prioritized - Please note that the offer is the total compensation offer for all three crew members. Lastly, lunch for this production will not be provided or coordinated by Scorpion at this time. We kindly ask the local crew to account for their own meal break as a video production coordinator will not be on site.

Required equipment:

2 Matching Cameras (4K or UHD)
Lenses (at least 35mm & 50mm)
Slow Motion Capabilities (60FPS or higher) for B-Roll
Stabilizer (such as a Ronin for B-Roll)
Audio (Minimum of 1 Lav and 1 Shotgun Mic)
Lighting (minimum 3-Point Lighting Kit, prefer extra lights for BG)
Professional-Grade Cards for capture DIT System to backup and archive footage (Hard Drives and Laptop).

Scorpion will send out SSD Hard Drives (Pair) for DIT and footage delivery. Footage will be expected to be loaded up onto Drive A, duplicated on Drive B, and then both drives Fed-Exed back to Scorpion using our corporate account. Once the integrity and completeness of footage are verified, payment will be completed.
