Rate: $1,000 for 10 hours on set + $150 for Camera Kit + $250 for G&E Kit.

We are looking for a Director of Photography / Videographer to join our crew on September 6th to film a government project overview video. The day will be fluid so we are looking for a videographer who can film a run-and-gun style b-roll with interviews taking place outdoors at construction sites. Seeking a DP for a commercial shoot in Erie, PA on 9/10/24.

This will be a series of interviews filming talent speaking direct-to-camera using a teleprompter. There will be a bit of a run and gun aspect to setups, but once set up we will be fixed in place on a tripod. We are looking at one to two locations, with a few setups at each location.

Our crew will be very small. A Producer will ask the questions, but we want someone who can (in some cases) bring all camera and lighting gear as well as provide audio equipment, and (always) light/shoot/record audio for the interview. Looking for a DP/Cam Op who can bring a premium lens to a documentary about preservation in Franklin, TN.

We are looking to marry a whimsical, premium look with documentary. Think Downton Abbey, Boys State, Daughters (Netflix). We're looking to capture a whimsical timeless aesthetic.

We will have 3-4 shoot days for a pilot episode of a potential series this fall.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be local to location (or willing to work as a local).

The shoot will be a small two-camera shoot where we will have the talent, DP, 1st Assistant Camera, and Sound Mixer on set. Two camera setup with a 9x16 frame safe. One camera will be wide and one camera will be for close-ups. Each recipe will be shot twice.

Producers will be patched in on Zoom; we will need to see what is on the camera and be able to speak with the talent via Zoom; We will need you to set up any lights that need to be set up; The shoot should be around 6-8 hours including setup, shoot, and breakdown.

We will pay a kit fee for cameras and G&E gear/equipment.

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Director of Photography (DoP) to join us for a three-day conference shoot, which includes one prep day. On the prep day, you'll get a chance to review the event layout, plan your equipment setup, and coordinate with our team. Day one will involve filming interviews with attendees and capturing B-roll footage for the reception event and TBD luxury properties. You’ll handle setting up and lighting the interviews and collaborate with a second camera unit for different angles. Day two will be all about capturing the lively atmosphere and key moments of the conference.


Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration:

B-Roll Footage (Day 2):
*Gather comprehensive B-roll footage of the conference, including the overall atmosphere, key moments, and various activities.
*Capture diverse and engaging shots that showcase the event's full scope.

Equipment Management:
*Set up and break down all necessary camera and lighting gear.
*Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and suitable for both interviews and broll.

Time Management:
*Complete all filming tasks, including setup and breakdown, within the 10-hour timeframe each day.
