Seeking a thoughtful documentary DP, experienced with follow doc style verite, as well as sitdown/formal interviews. Due to content and subjects being filmed, we will be prioritizing BIPOC crew, if you're comfortable indicating such in your submission.
Planning 2-6 shoots in DC now until November. Most immediately looking at a few days around May 4th.
This is aimed to be a feature documentary revealing a grassroots level journey alongside a diverse group of protagonists in red, blue and purple states working in similar ways with non-partisan ballot measures advancing electoral reforms. These reforms vary by state and include opening primaries and ranked choice voting.
Rate range w/ gear package: $900-1,700/12hr day
