- Title: Every Fighter Has A Story
- Job Requirements: Must be local to location (or willing to work as a local).
-
Additional Requirements:
- Do you have any news crew or live event experience you can highlight for us?
We need a local ENG crew (camera & audio) to work with our reporter doing news-type interviews with fighters during the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships. It's nothing complicated but our talent has a huge following and is considered an online "influencer" so she has to look exceptional and sound phenomenal without a lot of setup time. You should have handheld experience too.
Looking for an easygoing but hardworking, tech-savvy DP/audio team to work Thursday, Friday & Sat. for live press conference, live weigh-ins and the main fight event (live on Fite TV) gathering interviews and b-roll for editor to immediately cut and broadcast online.
MUST list relevant experience and include links to your work, related to live event sports reporting and/or news gathering and interviews. MUST send flat rate including equipment for you and audio mixer as a team. If you have Facebook live streaming experience please mention in your application.
During the weigh ins / press conference you will be on sticks shooting the stage, and audio will need to plug into the sound board of the room to get clean audio. You will then give them a feed so audio and video are tied together.

Expect something similar. Live streams can be 1080p / 29.97 no need for 4K.
For BROLL - this will be during down times or when there is no interview to shoot. However our reporter might pull a fighter out of nowhere she wants to interview. We'll need plenty of shots to flesh out a highlight reel our editor will be putting together. Here are some examples:

For BKFC we unfortunately are not able to shoot the fights, so don't plan on going towards the ring to get alt angles or any fight footage. We may be able to shoot the fighter walk outs. What we can shoot and what we need is:
- Fan interviews
- Fan BROLL
- Exterior wide tilts / pans of arena
- Long locked down shot of fans entering arena for timelapse
- Ring side time keeper ringing bell
- Any crazy fan reactions to knockouts / etc.
- Fighters prepping in the back before fights
- Fighters getting worked on after fights
- Inside broadcast truck
- Exterior of broadcast truck
- Any fighter family members in the crowd if they are identified
- Interior of arena, showcase how many fans are in attendance
- Footage of David Feldman, owner of BKFC - look for him talking to folks, shaking hands, doing business type stuff, etc. Here is where your "run & gun" news crew experience will come in handy.
We have NOT gotten a lot of these shots from our local news crews before, so honestly if you can check these off the list, you will considered for hiring again, as these events tend to pop up in the same cities over and over again where it's sanctioned.
