JOB DESCRIPTION
Edit video for daily live television news broadcasts. Record and import video and *** files from multiple sources. Coordinate with other members of newsroom team in assembling stories. Work with broadcast engineers in maintaining and problem solving video editing and storage systems as necessary. Non-linear editing experience required. Experience using Grass Valley Edius editing software and Bitcentral video systems strongly preferred. General understanding of television news operations and news videography techniques. The role of the Editor will involve editing, using Adobe Premier, various content for television and digital platforms.

They would be an integral part of the post-production department, supporting the team and Head of Post-Production in crafting award winning story driven documentary style content, and making social *** cutdowns, reels, plus *** management and archiving. They would also be required to work independently across the post-production workflow including some audio mixing, colour correction/grading and exporting *** to external vendors.

Area of Responsibilities:

• Ingestion of Footage and maintenance of the production server filing system
• Edit assigned campaigns, filmed by our in-house production department of from supplied footage. Produce professional, dynamic, high quality commercial content using the latest editing and effects software, including some audio mixing and colour grading.
• Exporting files to external venders for audio mixing and colour grading
• Prepare master files for delivery
• Edit to multiple cutdowns and formats as required
• Cultivate a collaborative relationship with the production and CREATE/ *** IC Teams
• Edit quality and timely delivery of produced assets

Essential:

• The eligibility to work in APAC
• 4+ years' experience in editing and post-production, within a Global *** Publisher/Creative Agency/Production House and ideally in a
• A knowledge of production processes from inception to delivery, film production best practices, broadcast camera and editing equipment
• A strong interest in content production, specifically filmed content

Job Summary:

The Integrated Content Editor is a professional in video production responsible crafting content for broadcast, interactive, and social *** platforms for *** Parks Experiences and Products. You will bring *** Parks marketing messages to life by combining motion graphics, animation, video, music and sound effects into a compelling story that allows our guests to see themselves and their families vacationing with us and enjoying our merchandise. As a part of the post-production team, you will report to the Sr. Manager Production and Director of Production. This is a direct hire, full-time opportunity. We also hire contract and freelance positions to support our teams.

Responsibilities:

• Produce work that expresses a knowledge of visual storytelling, with a level of creativity and new insights

Your New Role...

The Editor role will manage a line of editorial products within the DC Universe imprint, including but not limited to physical and digital comics, graphic novels, and periodicals, in conjunction with input and mentorship from Executive Editor and Editor-in-Chief. This role will also create new storylines that expand the character mythos and build on the existing foundation of the DC Universe and other robust fictional worlds.

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Oversees and develops content and assigned DC titles.

• Manages the creative process from conception through publication. Ensures that schedules and budgets are met, and product quality meets or exceeds DC's editorial standards. Seeks ways to keep ongoing series fresh and exciting.

Job Summary/Description:

This person in this position is responsible to edit video for all *** platforms and initiatives, including broadcast, web, digital, and social. This employee also acquires video feeds from satellite, microwave, backpacks, and other transmission sources and ensures field crews are ready for air, including making necessary IFB assignments. This person is responsible for routing and recording all feeds into our content management system. This employee is also responsible for participating in maintaining and retrieving assets in the content management and archive systems as well as helping to maintain field operations equipment.

Edits video for all *** platforms and initiatives, including broadcast, web, digital, and social. Communicates effectively to prepare for and execute all team responsibilities. Works with the Chief News Editor to improve the overall editing workflow.

Acquires video feeds from satellite, microwave, backpacks, and other transmission sources from the field and ingests them into the content management system for potential future use. Maintains the content management and archive systems. Retrieves assets in these systems as needed. Assists the Field Operations Manager in maintaining field operations equipment and related workflows.

As a freelance Desk Editor, you will be a key part of the *** Sports digital operation, handling video publishing and presentation of live streams across multiple properties, including *** , Golf, Olympic and Paralympic Sports, Premier League, Motorsports, Big Ten, Rotoworld and more. You will manage the day-to-day presentation of the *** Sports digital homepage, sport-specific pages, and the Sports app, as well as support video publishing effort on platforms like YouTube, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure all content, both video and written, is presented with accuracy, nuance and care across our digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage video publishing and livestream presentation on the *** Sports main site and on the Sports App, both in a live sports environment and to support studio shows like ProFootballTalk, Fantasy Football Happy Hour and Brother From Another
• Manage the presentation of content across *** Sports sites, including the homepage and sports-specific pages
• Package *** Sports written and video content on our digital platforms in a way that both maximizes reach and prioritizes editorial accuracy
• Plan around key properties and tentpole events to develop coverage strategies and ensure coordination *** ween linear broadcasts and digital teams
• React to news about core *** Sports properties, such as Sunday Night Football, NASCAR, Premier League, Golf, Big Ten, Olympics, Notre Dame Football, etc., and coordinate appropriate coverage with writing and digital video production staffs.
• Support relationships with partner platforms like YouTube, Yahoo and Apple News

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Strong editorial judgment and engagement with multiple sports properties, including fantasy sports and *** ting
• Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize across multiple concurrent sports and events
• Familiarity with a digital ecosystem and ability to learn and master (with all appropriate support and training) multiple technical platforms that contribute to the presentation of *** Sports across multiple digital platforms
