Typical project:
- 2 camera setup with 1 or both cameras in 4k 29.97fps 4:2:2 10 or 8 bit
- Audio may be lined up in camera or separate where the Synchronize feature will be needed
- Some footage will be recorded in Slog3 or Slog2 and will need the standard LUT applied and color correction made
- Hopefully photos will be made available to create a thumbnail to be used in the first several frames and as a separate jpg/png file. If no photos, one may need to be created based off of a screenshot
- Captions should be reviewed and corrected and supplied as an SRT sidecar
- Files are kept on Google Drive including original files.
- Completed project files also to be uploaded to our Google Drive when a project is done
- We will use Frame.io for the client approval process
- We won't need special effects or animation
This is my first time posting and editing job, so I am not as knowledgeable with the latest rates.

We are assembling a crew for a feature-length digital series to be released on social apps. The script is approximately 70 pages long, and the production will take place in the Los Angeles area (within the 30-mile zone) as a Non-Union project.
The Editor's role is to serve as an all-in-one editor, responsible for editing, adding music, sound effects (if needed), and performing simple color grading on the final cut. We require the Editor to be present on set to initiate the rough cut process. The final cut must be completed within 2 to 2.5 weeks, with no more than three rounds of revisions.
There is no VFX editing involved. Music licenses and stock footage costs will be additional.

We filmed a live concert in Italy, and a bunch of interstitial material in Italy to help create a short documentary. And a long documentary featuring clips from the wife show mixed with footage in Italy and photos. It's about an artist that goes back to his grandparents, hometown and plays a concert in the Piazza of the small Italian town. His grandfather was an opera singer, who immigrated to America 100 years ago, and unfortunately was gaslighting for American France during World War I. He did sing at the Metropolitan opera House in New York City behind world, famous singer Enrico Caruso, but could not continue his career due to the injury, sustained in World War I. He ended up living the last 35 years in his life today veterans hospital in New York City. And now the grandson takes it all full circle back to the hometown Natalie, and plays for the people of which many are actual cousins. We received press in the largest paper in Naples and have a lot of great footage to use. Plus, there's great history to draw from. We also have a lyric video for the next original song release and the one following it within the next few months. There will be more work for the editor if the job goes well and it there is a good chemistry built with everybody being happy working together. We don't have a big budget, but we can discuss it and make sure that everybody's on the same page as far as payment.

The *** Owned Television Station group is looking for a dynamic, motivated Content Editor/Producer to join our team! The Content Editor/Producer (Full-Time) reports to the Director of Localish and works with teams across all stations as a member of the Central Content Group.
This unique position calls for a hard-working content creator and experienced video editor who aspires to find the best stories and relishes the opportunity to work with major brands across the *** Owned Stations. The ideal candidate loves visual storytelling, thinks outside the box, and embodies creativity. They should also have a deep understanding of the evolving digital and broadcast landscape.
This person will be responsible for editing, recording, quality control, and archiving material for a diverse portfolio of branded and editorial video content across the country. Strong preference is given to candidates with experience in documentary or short documentary production.
*This project is anticipated to last 12 months. The project may be extended depending on departmental needs, but it is at the sole discretion of the leadership team.*

Responsibilities:
- Produce and edit short-form videos and documentary specials
- Generate exciting and enlightening concepts with the production team
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously from concept through execution
- Collaborate with and support supervising producers throughout all projects and processes
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience creating digital video content in a collaborative environment for a platform, agency, network, or brand.
- High level of editing expertise in Adobe Suite, with an emphasis on Premiere Pro
- Excellent written, verbal, and time management skills
- A positive and optimistic outlook that matches the brand's mission
- Hours will vary depending on the needs of the department - flexibility to work a varied schedule is required.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale is $90,400 to $124,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
