Are you a documentary-style editor with motion graphics chops? Do you have the ability to tell a compelling story on a tight timeline? The Video Editor will support the video team of a growing digital marketing agency in creating impactful video for a variety of clients and platforms. You’ll be an integral part of a collaborative production team -- motivated by bringing creative solutions for our clients that helps to bring more empathy and attention to purpose-driven clients through collaborative content storytelling.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned video professional with diverse editorial experience. You’ll have the ability to cut short and long-form marketing content for a variety of digital and social marketing platforms including organic web uses, social media, virtual events, and paid ads.

You will communicate effectively with producers and other post-production specialists to bring projects to life in the edit. You will be receptive to team and client notes having had a demonstrated ability to create video work that delivers on creative quality while serving a client communication or advertising need.

You’ll be able to create text motion graphics and select appropriate music. You’ll be able to do basic web audio mixes and color passes. You’ll be willing to version and rigorously quality check your work.

The Editor will ensure that content is optimized for website views, paid ads, email marketing, social posts, webinars, and virtual events, and that we’re creating content that resonates on each platform. You’ll also help spot opportunities to repurpose content for different formats.

As we are conducting an increasing amount of virtual events, our Editor may need to assist in technical support of some livestream events, periodically.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative team player with a “no job is too big or too small” mentality, who is eager to grow in a fast-paced, agency environment, and start making an IMPACT.

Please note that this is an in-person role. The ideal candidate would work from our offices 4+ days per week.

What You’ll Do:
Post production
Editorial content creation and post-production management in Adobe Premiere
Ingest, organize and select content in preparation for edit
Send files to transcript
Research and leverage stock footage
Create documentary-style and scripted edits for client review
Work off of a shot list, script, paper cut or outline with minimal oversight
Research and incorporate stock music
Incorporate the work of specialty vendors, and freelancers if applicable
Create subtitles and incorporate into final videos
Export, deliver and QC final files
Manage multiple projects and simultaneous deadlines
Motion Graphics
Translate brand guidelines into title card treatments, text graphics, and lower thirds.
Editorial Finishing
Audiomix in Premiere or Audition
Color Correction in Premiere or Davinci
Versioning and QCing files for delivery

File Management
Ensure data is transferred to server and archived at the end of each project
Run server and project backups

Streaming Support
Support event livestreams by streaming content over zoom or other propriety software for clients.
Additional duties, as assigned.

Job Requirements
5+ years of editing experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, and media encoder.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Creativity is a must, but taking deadlines seriously is essential, so you must be able to work under pressure.
Desire to take initiative, own the product, and work collaboratively with teammates.
Ability to confront hurdles with positivity and poise.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and G Suite.
Extensive knowledge of video marketing trends.
