We are looking for a strong editor to lead the post team on a 22 episode soft format docu-series about animal rescue. Due to Covid this will be produced much like an investigative/true crime series, just without the mystery and murder.

We will be taking all available measures to prevent Covid among the staff. Our 10,000 sq ft facility has private edit suites and plenty of space for social distancing.

Ideal candidates should have multiple credits on cable or network reality series. You should be comfortable supervising a small team of editors to ensure each episode is on track to meet our delivery dates. You will also be responsible for conform, online, and creating all network deliverables. So you must have strong technical skills and experience creating digital masters that adhere to network specs and pass QC.

You will have some freedom to design the post workflow for the series. We have been planning to cut on Avid, but the right candidate could convince us to go with a Premiere workflow if preferred.

Job Description
