SKILLS:
- Versioning and mastering for linear broadcast and global distribution of diverse content including scripted, non-scripted, factual, reality and live programming. Edit sessions often involve opportunities to collaborate with production staff, but may also occur without direct supervision using instructions provided by a producer. Editors will be expected to have mastery of enterprise technical specifications and operating procedures; and deliverables will be expected to meet or exceed our quality requirements for global distribution.
- Mastering and versioning responsibilities include formatting for broadcast and distribution, creating cutdown and enhanced versions, modifying for Standards & Practices, content updates, graphics and credit fixes, closed captioning and audio mixing and level correction. Workflows leverage a variety of source materials including existing mastered materials, audio tracks and stems, closed captions, graphics packages, raw and archival footage and images.
- The ideal candidate is an energetic and collaborative team player who enjoys new challenges, manages time effectively, and can thrive in a fast-paced, highly changeable environment.

TECH:
- Must have reliable internet connectivity of 25mbps speed or higher

Job Description
Finance news brand is seeking an experienced video editor to edit engaging, informative and timely video features, recurring series episodes and in-depth interviews. The video editor will regularly work on segments ranging from eight to 10 minutes with opportunities to expand stories to 25 minutes for OTT platforms.
