Summary
Currently seeking an Editor to join our Nashville based team, reporting to the Vice President of Post Production. The editor will be responsible for editing multi-camera shows, media management, and international delivery. This includes, but isn’t limited to, weekly show edits, topical/generic promos, long and short form features, as well as social media creative content.

Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the post-production multi-camera editing of our weekly national broadcast television show(s), documentaries, series, and promotional content
Manage international and digital shows, which includes weekly delivery and formats
Responsible for workflow and digital management of vast library
Ownership and overall responsibility from conception to delivery of all assignments
Complete assigned projects on time and within budget
Must be able to clearly communicate with graphic designers, producers and the network in regard to changes
Handle multiple projects at one time and meet strict deadlines
Manage and build relationships inside and outside the department

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience
5 years of experience with Avid Media Composer at a broadcast or cable television network + multi camera editing in wrestling is a huge plus!
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer) along with Avid Media Composer, Canon 7D & 5D and MediaSilo
Experience in sports/entertainment broadcasting and interest in professional wrestling
Understanding of all phases of pre-production, production and post-production management
Demonstrated time management, communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task, creatively problem-solve and work well under pressure
Strong visual sense
Adobe after-effects knowledge
Ability to work in live television environment under short time constraints
Ability to work flexible schedules including odd hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Experience managing and directing talent and coordinating shoots
Must possess a state-of-the-art, post-production skill set and techniques
Brainstorm and conceptualize independently

Job Description
Finance news brand is seeking an experienced video editor to edit engaging, informative and timely video features, recurring series episodes and in-depth interviews. The video editor will regularly work on segments ranging from eight to 10 minutes with opportunities to expand stories to 25 minutes for OTT platforms.

These originals will be expected to capture viewers' attention through their sharp perspective, approachable style, and clear relevance to the biggest investments and financial questions investors face. You will help spearhead execution across a range of programming formats.

You will work closely with reporters, studio, graphics, and more to elevate brand’s feature video stories. You will be expected to be a strong collaborator and execute an efficient video production process to ensure clean, final delivery. Responsibilities:
- Edit original features using Adobe Premiere, for audiences across our daily live distribution onsite and off, YouTube, and major social platforms.

- Stay up-to-date on the workings of company systems including proprietary infrastructures, working with the post support team to source and acquire assets as necessary for projects.

NewsNation is currently searching for a freelance editor for our national newscasts, for our national newscasts, based in our new New York *** , with the opportunity for full-time staff positions as operations expand.

This opportunity is for someone that doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves and do something few have done before - launch a new 24-hour news network.

Job Description:

Editing assignments will range from quick voice overs, news packaged, to long form documentary style pieces, and maintain sound news judgment
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Q ualifications:

Five plus (5+) years' editing experience in fast-paced live television environment required
Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere.
Must work well in a collaborative team environment, be able to multitask. A pr oblem solver and quick thinker to resolve existing issues and to find work arounds.
Working knowledge of common business software applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must be self-sufficient and have a "press-on-regardless" attitude.
All day parts (mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays) may be a part of the schedule with overtime as situations demand.3
Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field preferred.

This is an IBEW union PT position and union membership is required.
