Fun and friendly production company located in Midtown Manhattan is seeking freelance editors with experience in short-form corporate video. Must be able to craft a story from scratch and understand flow.

We're looking for individuals who feel comfortable and confident working independently after given a basic run down of what is expected for a final deliverable. Must have basic knowledge in color correction, graphics, and lower thirds using Adobe Suite.

This has the potential to turn into regular freelance work if interested.

We do not do broadcast video and have very fast turn-arounds, so you may not work on just one project from start to finish. You may start on one project and get pulled to another mid-day. You will need to be able to adjust quickly and accordingly.

Job Summary/Description:

This person in this position is responsible to edit video for all *** platforms and initiatives, including broadcast, web, digital, and social. This employee also acquires video feeds from satellite, microwave, backpacks, and other transmission sources and ensures field crews are ready for air, including making necessary IFB assignments. Maintain the content management and archive systems. Retrieves assets in these systems as needed. Assists the Field Operations Manager in maintaining field operations equipment and related workflows.
