Online Editor | Final Frame
We're a small team with a great company culture looking for an individual to come in with at least 1-3 years of experience in an online editor role. The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn, a solution oriented mindset, and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment. This role will report directly to Final Frame’s DI Manager and will be in-person Monday – Friday, 10 am-7 pm.
Responsibilities and duties:
Relink and copy media from client drives to our internal SAN, transcoding when necessary.
Migrate offline edit from the editing program to the color correction platform.
Conform picture at the highest resolution and quality possible, recreating all scaling, positioning, and effects.
Work in tandem with the colorist to integrate graphics, text, replacement shots, and fixes throughout the color grade.
Communicate with the client, audio mixer, and other third party vendors to shepherd each project through the finishing process.
Export and review final deliverables, ensuring the highest quality possible.
Communicate with distributors, networks, and streaming services to ensure deliverables adhere to the relevant specifications.
Preferred Knowledge:
Proficiency in Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere.
Experience with Davinci Resolve and/or Adobe After Effects a plus.
Knowledge and understanding of various video frame rates, resolutions, and codecs.
Ability to problem solve and create efficient workflows under tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and good communication skills are crucial.
