Past projects have screened and won awards at prominent international festivals, including Sundance and Palm Springs, and have enjoyed world-wide distribution and streaming on multiple platforms, including Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu.

Work would begin late July 2023, and run roughly 15 weeks.

Candidate will be working closely alongside the director in person, and should be enthusiastic about creative collaboration and ready to bring their own ideas into the room.

Project is a SAG Ultra-Low Budget production, and Editor must be local to NYC. This is an opportunity to join an experienced team on a quality creative project.

Job Responsibilities:

The position requires managing files from ingesting, metadata application, archiving and delivery to editors as well as editing short form content for social media.

Editor for a new home makeover show

Looking for an editor with a really unique style - fun, funky transitions, good with music, super stylized editing. Looking for an editor who is also comfortable with story. Must have the experience and reel to show interesting transitions, sound design, etc.

Looking for someone to edit a 12-minute short film. Color grading not required.

Communicate with the client, audio mixer, and other third party vendors to shepherd each project through the finishing process.

Export and review final deliverables, ensuring the highest quality possible.

Preferred Knowledge:
Proficiency in Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere.
