Great team working on a long running reality show. Weekly rate is based on a 10 hour day.

TMZ is looking for a Editor to work in our fast-paced, TV news production environment. This role is responsible for editing content for multiple television shows as well as other creative projects. The Editor prepares and edits video procured from multiple sources for broadcast and website publication. It is vital for this person to be an engaging storyteller, who can produce (preditor) and piece together interesting stories within extremely tight daily deadlines. Must be highly proficient with Adobe Premiere, a Mac and PC user, and should be comfortable with basic aspects of computing, including Slack, MS Office Suite and navigating the internet. This position reports into the Supervising Producer and is located in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities:
• Produce and edit video content daily with Adobe Premiere (with editorial sense/judgment/direction)
• Cut and export video images in Photoshop
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Experience working on a television show (news, broadcast, cable, daytime talk, reality, etc.) is preferred
• A strong interest in entertainment celebrity news, preferred
• 3-5 years of video editing experience required
• Adobe Premiere and Photoshop – advanced skill-level required
• Must be a team player who can work simultaneously with different departments on multiple projects

Job Responsibilities:

Use Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and other video editing software to create high-quality video content.
Collaborate with other video editors to enhance and develop your editing skills, as well as share ideas and insights.
Work with retention specialists, directors and creative directors to meet retention standards and ensure audience engagement.
Make creative choices during editing, such as developing scenario structures for animations, selecting music for certain clips and reactions, and determining what should be supported visually/audibly in the editing process.
Requirements:

In this role as a Video Editor /Asset Manager you'll be responsible for ensuring all asset files the organization’s editors require are prepared and ready for editing. The position requires managing files from ingesting, metadata application, archiving and delivery to editors as well as editing short form content for social media.


organize media for projects, enter metadata, and ensure proper file ingestion and preview of assets.
Create Adobe Premiere project import files, organize bins, and sync audio and video footage for editors
Export audio and video for transcription of content by timecode using Trint, REV application or IPV Curator.
Organize and maintain project folders and content files according to the organization’s Standard Operating Procedures.
Export final cuts and associated assets for sound mixes and color correction with external vendors
Process footage for legal review with a complete stock log and release form audit
Receive and deliver files and hard drives internally and externally with producers, editors, and vendors
Research and fulfill footage upon request from colleagues
Edit and export quick-turn video projects
Research B-roll from stock sites for editors
Inventory, track and manage all video hard drives
Coordinate with Video Producer to check in footage from video shoots
Perform other technical job-related duties as assigned

Knowledge of industry file formats, codecs, and their proper handling in a post-production workflow
Interest in continuous professional learning and development within digital video media best practices and production tools

We need an editor to cut a true-crime sizzle for a Brazilian audience. Experience in crime and editing sizzle reels a plus. Must speak Portuguese and English.

This is a weekly rate. Short term gig only should last 2 weeks max. Negotiable based on experience.

Editor for a new home makeover show

Looking for an editor with a really unique style - fun, funky transitions, good with music, super stylized editing. Looking for an editor who is also comfortable with story. Must have the experience and reel to show interesting transitions, sound design, etc.

Looking for someone to edit a 12-minute short film. Color grading not required.

Need edit done around early July.

Please include reel and (if possible) full scenes that you have edited.

What's up! Need a creative Event content editor for our production in New Orleans from June 6-9. Editor will be responsible for compiling multiple creative deliverables for a Conference. Editor should be comfortable working with templates and be able to execute engaging creative, MOVIE TRAILER LIKE, short-form edits for our client.

GreenLeaf Productions is looking for an Avid editor with experience cutting for a hour format show for a network.  Starting around mid-June we will be in need of Avid editors for a true-crime series that will be airing on A&E Network.  Preference will be made to editors who can work in the office at our Bethlehem, PA location.  This is a full time gig for the series running approximately 10-12 weeks.
