Omaha Productions is looking for a freelance editor to join our team to support the Omaha Audio network, a partnership with ESPN.

Shows can be found on https://www.youtube.com/c/OmahaProd

Podcasts are produced in the style of traditional sports discussion shows with similar graphics and video elements.
Many shows are same day turn around, recording in the morning and publishing at a deadline later that day.
We typically use a digital streaming control room for the recording, so most shows will have some assets completed within the recording platform.

Applicants should be used to quick-turn around assets (highlights, graphic assets, show fixes, segment publishes).

Some applicants may be considered for a producer / editor hybrid role for future shows.

Budget is between $50-75 per hour.

**LOOKING FOR FREELANCE AND LONGER TERM CONTRACT POSSIBILITIES**
The hope is to find a few people we can rely on to fill holes as needed and others who may be interested in committing to a firm schedule for recurring workload. Both applicants will be considered.

Basic details:
- 20 hours per week targeted
- Hours are slightly flexible and vary depending on the show.
- Work with Head of Audio and Omaha Productions producers on video and audio edits for final show delivery
- Assist in evaluation of workflows and graphical elements to ensure timely edits
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere
- Experience working with mogart files
- Proficient in photoshop is a plus
- Experience editing trailers/vodcasts
- Interest in sports
- This position is fully remote

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Edits engaging video content for Tennis Channel International.
Maintains and executes on all production calendar deliverables.
Maintains technical standards of all post-production content.
Utilizes their diverse editing toolkit ranging from cinematic storytelling to fast-paced highlights and promos.
Edits graphics and video in a deadline-driven environment.
Creates versioning edits for different platforms.
Proactively identifies tennis trends and developing storylines.
Skillfully collaborates with all team members in a fast-paced environment.
Utilizes industry standard digital content and editing software.
Maintains Tennis Channel International's brand voice through overall tone and images; works in close collaboration with the team's graphic designer as well as other individuals within the division.

Qualifications:

A minimum of an undergraduate degree.
5+ years of editing experience in the linear television, digital video or OTT content space
Extensive experience with video and image editing software and processes, including Avid and Adobe Suite
Strong graphic (including motion graphics) and video editing skills in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent experience with digital content management systems, digital workflows, subscriptions, analytics and data
Ability to juggle heavy workloads and keep multiple projects on track
Deep understanding of how to organize and manage content ingestion and editorial / scheduling
Direct experience in launching and developing new OTT products
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of fast developing trends in the digital video and OTT space in general
