Looking for AVID editors with docu-series & TLC experience to start in August for approximately 10 weeks. The start dates are staggered throughout the month. The job is fully remote, working Los Angeles hours.

Looking for an editor to finish an assembly edit. The film will be approx 70min and about 60% is done.

Must be available to start right away.

Audio has all been connected and logged.

So it’s taking the remaining scenes and creating individual sequences.

We will put the final timeline together later.

Someone with good timing and works very proficiently. You will have many samples of the rhythm of it from the other scenes

Must be able to work with our rate. $1,500 flat fee for the work. 10 days/8 hour days

Must work only on Adobe premiere. Timeline is set up with Adobe "pancake" style layout. Using two sequences on top of each other.

Looking for a strong editor with feature doc experience.

Need someone creative who likes to unique ways to present material, loves to find comedy in the story and has a feel for making music pop in the edit.

Editor will start with a rough build of the movie, looking to really bring to life and polish up for festival submission.

In ATL or with the ability to work local in ATL for part of the project is preferred.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a video editor.
Proficiency in editing with Adobe Premiere Pro.
Strong understanding of video editing techniques, formats, and codecs.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual storytelling and editing aesthetics.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Exceptional communication skills; must be articulate and responsive.

A portfolio or reel showcasing previous work and editing styles is required.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented editor to join our creative team. As a member of our post team you will play a crucial role in editing high-quality video content for our YouTube channel. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and have a strong understanding of YouTube Culture and trends. This is an in office position so living in or being willing to relocate to Raleigh, North Carolina is a must.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

· Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro to edit videos including cutting, trimming, adding transitions, general color correction and basic audio mixing.

· Collaborate with the CEO/Talent and Producer to execute on video concepts to make sure all creative beats are hit while maintaining the post schedule set forth.

· Help maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all video content

· Monitor video analytics if asked by manager.

· Stay up to date on YouTube trends and best practices to optimize video performance.

· Able to work within the often tight turnaround schedules for YouTube.

· Able to track briefs for videos with brand integrations to help make sure all mandatory beats are hit within the edit.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Editing, Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or related field would be great but not mandatory.

· Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other relevant editing software

· Previous experience Editing for YouTube is extremely important. We are open to those outside of YouTube but having this experience will mean you know the slight nuance that differs from traditional markets.

· Local to Raleigh North Carolina or willing to relocate to the area. (Must work in office M-F)

· General knowledge of sound libraries and other useful software that can be used to improve channel edits

· Strong communication skills and the ability to self-start while also being able to collaborate effectively within a team.

The film is verite driven, following various political candidates throughout the country leading up to the election. Must have prior experience on a feature doc, must have references. Experience w/ political and/or verite centric projects a plus.
