Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• The position includes solo work, as well as working with reporters and anchors on live shots, investigative/promotable content and special projects, including live, remote broadcasts.
• You will shoot and edit video for daily news broadcasts and all of the station’s digital platforms.
• You will embrace working with our awesome digital producers. This includes sharing updates, video and still images from the field as new information is learned.
• You must have solid news judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to problem solve. Writing skills are a plus. Our photographers don’t just “gather and hand off” their work. When working solo, you are expected to conduct and log your interviews, provide shot sheets, and write copy. When working as a team, collaboration is an automatic.
• You will contribute to the entire editorial process. Having journalistic ethics, solid editorial judgement and creativity is a must.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• We prefer a college degree in journalism or related field, and at least one or more years of newsroom or digital producing experience.
